Sasha's POV

Warm air fans across my face. I breathe in and sigh, pulling the moist air into dreamland, where Ethan has made a lot of appearances. My eyes flick open and a deam light from the sun shines in through the curtains, enough for me to see a shape of a person standing right infront of me.

"Holy shit!" I fling the covers to the floor and scramble to my feet.

"No, Sasha. Shit cannot be holy. Now get your ass up sleeping beauty." Jessie's face comes into view as she dangerously narrows her eyes at me.

"What are you doing standing there like a ghost?" I shout fiercely "How did you even get in?"

"Calm down. You didn't lock it, and you weren't getting up no matter how much I knocked, so I came in."

"Don't you ever do that again. It's creepy." Whatever expression is on my face makes her roll her eyes.

"Just get ready. I will be waiting in the parking lot." She says as she turns and walks away leaving me frowning at her back.

What was that? It's not like she is the boss of me. I snort at the command she has left.

I finish bathing and getting ready, as fast as she ordered as if i am obeying orders, and hurry down to the parking lot.

I see Jessie leaning against my car drawing circles on the ground with her foot. I approach her before she notices, because she is so drawn to what she is drawing.

"What are you still doing here? I thought you already left." She looks up at me and clears her voice.

"I am going with you today." I glance at her as I take steps towards the door.

"What about Sydrah?"

"Just like you, she has not been sleeping home for the past weeks." She says as she opens the door and seats in the passengers seat. "Just drop me off at the second bus stop." She instructs.

"Did you have sex last night?" She suddenly asks blantly making me to choke on my saliva.

"What?"

"I mean, you were grinning in your sleep when I came to your apartment." I suddenly feel embarrassed and my face starts to heat up. I was grinning in my sleep? Ha! Sure enough, I looked like a total goof.

"Come on, don't be shy." She says mockingly. I think she notices me blushing like a goof again. "Tell me, who is he? Is he handsome? Is he mascular? Throw me a bone."

"Jessie, repeat after me." I say and stay quiet.

"Well, you are not saying anything."

"Exactly!" I press. Yes, she has to stay quiet, or I will end up spilling everything. I don't want to tell anyone about my personal life except Trav, and I hate it when I become so transparent, like the way I am becoming. I am not telling this girl anything about my sex life, I am not Lucy.

Oh, speak of which.

"How is Lucy?" I ask, partly concerned and partly willing to change the topic.

She breathes in deeply and then out. "She cried herself to sleep last night, but when I woke up, she was already gone."

"Does she normally leave so early?"

"No, I always go before she even wakes up. But I was not surprised because she is studying for an important exam, so she has to go earlier before she goes to work."

"Where does she work?" I say. I have never worked while still in school, so I feel like working and going to school at the same time must be so exhausting.

"It's a coffee shop not far away from our building. I wonder if she will do anything right today. Poor thing." She says worriedly, about her best friend.

I drive her to the bus stop where she gets off and I resume to the Morgan construction. That is where I am working today, contract signing, introducing them to the C.E.O and all.

When I get to the building, I walk quickly to the conference room. I am a bit early, so no one is here yet. In a few minutes, Lance and dad and some other executives also arrive . Before they get seated, the two men from last time also enter the room. The older man's eyes immediately notice me and he shoots me a professional smile.

"It's nice meeting here again Ms. Morgan." He says.

I want to reply but I don't remember his name, and I don't want to ask. Forgetting things must be a genetic disease. It takes me a whole lot of time to remember people's names like my dad on remembering people's faces.

"Nice to see you Mr. Schmidt." My dad gets up meeting him and shaking hands with him saving me the struggle of trying to remember his name. I think he notices I don't remember. He also shakes hands with the other man and directs them to sit.

The rest of the time goes by in a blur of talks and signing contracts that for some reason gets me bored. After what feels like forever, the meeting is done and everyone leaves, leaving me and dad in the room. I get up and walk towards him, but Lance from nowhere comes and blocks my way.

"The youngest bid winner in construction history." He exclaims and I roll my eyes. Did he need to say that? "Congratulations on that little sister." He stretches out his hand for me.

I look down at it and hating it, I walk past him, ignoring him. "Okay." He mumbles under his breath and walks out.

"Come here." My dad widens his arms for me and I run straight to him. "Congratulations on your first trial."

"I told you." I smile proudly wrapping my arms around him.

"You did. You are surely my daughter. A better version of me." He says placing a kiss on the top of my hair. What is he saying? I am working so hard to be like him and how can I be a better version of him.

"No dad, you are the best version of you." I respond and pull away from him. "Now tell me old man, why do I have money from your account."

"You worked for it." He shrugs.

"I told you, money I worked for has to come from the company's account, not your personal account." I press.

"Come-on, Sasha! Stop playing hard to get." I look at him and I grin.

"Okay, okay. Just today I will take it." I can use that to give my team a very exciting bonus.

"So, how are we going to celebrate?" He asks with excitement.

"Dunno." I say freely while I involuntarily pull out my phone and check on it.

"Dinner at home? Or at a nice restaurant? What about a new car?" He offers. A smile immediately forms on my face when I see a text message from 'priest'. I unlock my phone and tap on the message.

Priest : I am outside your building. Meet me when you get done.

My stomach flutters reading the message. Before dad finishes whatever he is saying, I peck him quickly and say good bye before I run away. I hear him say a word about the dinner but I just act deaf on that. I will call him once I am done.

***********

Priest is here again :) .He always excites Sasha, and me. Who else?
