Sasha's POV
I move out of my apartment when I finish getting ready. Sydrah said she would take me to work today, my leg is ruined once again.
I find Sydrah knocking on Lucy and Jessie's apartment.
"Jessie, if you are done come out, we are getting late." She voices out when no one responds to the knock.
Suddenly, the door opens and Jessie rushes out.
"Good morning." She restlessly says as she fidgets to close the door.
"Let's go." She turns after locking the door, rushes to the elevator and presses the down button, leaving us both wondering what is going on with her.
We follow her to the elevator and wait for the doors to open.
"Hey, relax. What's up?" Sydrah finally says to her, touching her shoulder.
"You can't believe I woke up twenty minutes back." She confesses rather proud that she managed to put up everything together in twenty minutes.
I turn my head to look at her as I laugh out. I am familiar with that situation.
"Do you guys work together?" I finally ask, while the elevator door opens for us to enter, to sate my curiosity as to why they go to work together.
"No. My work place is just near hers, so she drops me off. Saves my transport money, much." Jessie replies with gratitude in her voice.
The elevator dings and the door opens for us to move out.
We walk into the parking lot to see Sydrah walking towards a red Porsche911.
My jaw drops as my eyes fly over the beautiful car.
"Whoaa! You drive that beauty?" I gasp as I approach it. I let my fingertips gently move over its beauty.
"After you wipe off that drool, you can jump in." Sydrah playfully mocks me as she and Jessie open the front doors to get in.
I finally wipe off the drool and jump in too.
"You must be pretty loaded." I exclaim as I sit in the back seat of the beautiful car.
"No. My fiancee helped me with this because I left my car in California. Its not mine." She admits as she starts it. Even its roar sounds great. I am falling in love with this.
-o-o-o-o-
It is lunch time at work, I have been calling Dr. Ethan's phone to make some consultation about what happened this morning, but he has not picked up even once. I sent a bunch of text messages, but none has been replied.
"Your car is here." Suzanna narrowly opens and peeks in.
I sent for my car thirty minutes back. I think I should just go to the hospital, without an appointment, not to mention. I don't want to wait any longer, I want to get done with this foot and get my mind to my work only.
The ride to the hospital is forty-five minutes away.
"Good afternoon." I say to the lady, sitting on a desk outside his.
"Good afternoon to you." She politely replies.
I am surprised she doesn't act like its lunch time. You know, like some other offices that don't work 'after twelve and before three' during day.
"How may I help you?" She asks with a genuine smile.
"I am here to see Dr. Grayson." I state and she surprisingly looks at me, her mouth forming an o, As if she is trying to remember something.
