Hey Everyone!

It had been nine years since Obiukwu got married to Benjamin. Obi had given birth to a set of twin boys Chukwuemeka and Chukwuebuka. The journey till childbirth had not been difficult for Obiukwu, her husband made sure that doctors came to their house to check on her. He had insisted that Obi remained on house arrest till the birth of the babies. At first when her period stopped coming she suspected that she was pregnant. She  got herself a pregnancy strip which came positive.

Her marriage had been consummated on several occasions and Obi had no doubt that the child was Benjamin's. All her life she had only been with two men. She had grown to love Benjamin not just because of how well he took care of her siblings but also how well he treated her. He was an understanding husband who she had grown to love as the days grew by. He paid attention to her needs and treated her family as his. Obi respected him enough to allow him fulfill his marital rites on their first night, hiding any form of difficulty on her path.

With time it became easier and she thought of Benjamin as a man she loved.
Benjamin had secrets Obi could tell, he had insisted that her children would be born at home. With the help of doctors, he set up a part of his house where Obi would receive medical attention and pre natal care with nurses at her beck and call. At the sixth month Obi was faced with the bad news of premature birth. The doctors claimed that her child had tendencies of coming out before the ninth month.

Mma Chukwudi had visited her on instruction by her father who knew that Obi would never accept his wife. She helped Obi prepare her mind for delivery constantly wishing that her friend had been there to see her grandchildren.

Mma Chukwudi came to their house bearing gifts from her father, stepmother and also from herself. Mma Chukwudi had been a blessing to Obi and her immediate family during her pregnancy and when she left because she had to take care of mma, Obi felt lonely.

The time for delivery  came and passed and yet no signs of childbirth came. Mma Chukwudi had always hinted that Obi's belly had grown pass the seventh month but finally chalked it up to the possibility of having big babies.

After the ninth month not Oblu Obi but Benjamin became very worried, the tests didn't reveal anything wrong but the children had decided to stay put in her belly.

Another month passed and Obi decided she needed God's intervention. She prayed fervently mostly about forgiveness because she felt God was still not pleased with her in some way.A week into the third month Obi dreamt of her mother filling a stagnant puddle of water with sand. The task was heinous and Obi opted to help her.

The woman reprimanded Obi and gave her a stern look. "I chọrọ Ịnwụ? Gaa chọta oge, tufuo ya Do you want to die? ". Puzzled Obi stood and watched the woman move to and from till she completed her task.

"Obi too anya n'ala. Oke nọ n'ụlọ gwara oké nọ na ohia n'azụ dị na mkpọ. Chọta Oge, tufuo ya".
Obi relayed the dream to her husband who couldn't give her a suitable explanation. They did not know any person named Oge and they did not understand how she was a mole in their house or how they could throw her away.

The second week came and Obi continued in her prayers, she revealed everything to Benjamin and even told him about Obiefune. Benjamin assured her that it was not a sign of God's wrath and encouraged her to have faith.

Obi had been sleeping when a loud noise woke her. She came into their kitchen to find pieces broken glass on the floor. Tobe had shattered the clock she hung in the kitchen while he tried to kill a wall gecko. Obi was disappointed and scolded her brother but as she reprimanded him, Benjamin came into the kitchen to vindicate Tobe.
