How could I live without you!?! rayla x callum

confession 2.0

Callum and I stop to rest at a cave nearby, "I'll go find some moonberries, ill be right back" I say as I walk off into the forest. what am I supposed to tell Callum? he doesn't know that he confessed, should I tell him? or is it my turn to confess first... My thoughts wander for a while until I find some berries, after I pick all the berries off the bush I walk back to the cave. I walk in the cave to find zym sleeping and Callum drawing, I walk over to Callum and say "what're you drawin,?" I look into his notebook and see that he's drawing an incredibly detailed picture of me and zym. I blush a lot and Callum quickly closes his book after he notices I'm looking at it, "hey what's wrong? it looks wonderful!" Callum looks at me and says "its just... nothing, forget I said anything."

I could tell that something was up with Callum, he seemed sad. "Callum, what's wrong?" he looks at me for a moment and says "I-its nothing don't worry about it, But anyway, what happened when I died?"  here's your chance Rayla, tell him how you feel! "well, uhm... *Think Rayla think!*  I... Callum I love you". It felt as if a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders.Then I do something I thought id never have the guts to do, I kissed Callum.

                                                                                 Callum's pov

Am I dreaming? I can't believe the most beautiful woman in the whole world just kissed me.     "R-Rayla I don't know what to say..." Rayla gives me a smile and says " how about I love you back?" I laugh and say "I love you too Rayla". After a while we both blush more than a moonberry and I just say "so, that just happened" more awkward silence... "um we should be gettin to bed."  Rayla says "y-yeah right"

I can't believe I just did that... "goodnight Rayla", " goodnight Callum". I couldn't sleep that night it was impossible, bad thoughts started to creep through my head your an elven assassin you shouldn't love a human, you have betrayed Xadia... The bad thoughts annoyed me a bit but I was too happy to be really bothered by them. The real reason I couldn't  sleep was because I was so happy, I eventually drifted off to sleep. I woke up the next morning really early I walked over to Callum and said "wake up sleepy head", "ugh rayla its so early..." I basically dragged him out of the cave, and we started walking...
