twenty seven;

"How was yesterday?" my father asks by the kitchen. I was still half asleep. I didn't even realize it is already 12 noon.

Memories paced through my head last night. All about Natalie. She's alive. And what happened last night was the worst experience yet. If she's alive, there's more trouble.

Desiree? Where is she? I haven't spoke to her yet. How it used to be. Of course she had to be Natalie's neighbor.

Everything is solved now. Everyone should stop. Especially Desiree, she doesn't deserve to be part. Just me alone. I'll deal this, if I could handle it.

"Louis?" my father spoke again

"Oh" i shake my head and pinch the top of the bridge of my nose. "Alot happened actually. Going to be honest, Natalie is back and I actually don't know what to do."

"I thought she died?"

"I did too." i sigh

"Now, now.. don't get too rude Louis. That isn't very nice."

"She killed Jane!!"

"We aren't sure yet." he frowns

"So what am I going to do now?" i throw my head backwards and let out a loud groan

"I say, you spend time and great time with Desiree." he sips from his coffee

"How?" i almost yell desprately "She's so upset with me and I am too! I just want everything back to the way it was!"

"How did it ever change?"

"Ever since I told her the truth."

"Then make her believe that the truth isn't as bad after all" he shrugs

"Wow you sound like mum" i roll my eyes

"Your mum is buying groceries since we're all out."

"You didn't have to. Dad! This is my home. I could've spent it."

"It's fine. We are staying for a little while, we'd be consuming...well.. your food" he chuckles "so we do need to share"

"Alright." i had nothing else to say.

"I do wanna meet that Desiree of yours.... You haven't forgotten that you should meet your girlfriend to your parents have you?"

"I di- well she isn't officially yet..."

"Then go on and ask her" my dad laughs and continues with his coffee.

If only it was that easy on my place. You don't know how much I wanted to ask her for so long but I never did. Every week she found out something about me and that's the more anxiety that fills me up. The more truth she knows, the more chances she'll say no.

Desiree:

I leaned on my chair and stared at my desk. I'm completely bored. Nothing is enlightening me anymore. I never been this bored. Nothing actually happened. I should be worrying about Natalie at the moment but it's actually none of my business.

And now I'm here stuck at work. Paper work. Marge looks hell of stress. Rob and Georgie are flirting by their side. Simply regular stuff that happens in the office. Nothing to care about.

I opened my phone to check the time at first but at the end I checked my messages with Louis. I missed it. I miss the times when... everything was just so.. normal. There was no drama. It was just quality time. The only argues I had with Louis was the alcohol beverages stuff or who'd get the last piece of cheetos. It was better that way.
