T H I R T E E N

I was laying in bed as Corbyn snapped the picture of me. "HAHAHAHAH YOU HAVE A BOOGER! Look at that lil boogie" Corbyn poked at the booger in my nose through the picture. "Oh shut up!" I jokingly shoved him. Corbyn fell back slightly and laughed. "Take a new one" I laughed. "Alright alright, fine" he laughed. I grabbed a tissue and went to fix my nose. Corbyn started taking pictures while it looked like I was picking my nose. "Corbyn stop" I turned away from the phone.

"Ladies and gentlemen, if you would just take a look to your right, you will see a wild Celeste in her natural habitat" Corbyn continued taking pictures. I reached out to grab my phone, then we heard shouting. I looked at Corbyn and he looked just as confused as me. Corbyn and I ran out of the room. We saw Jonah and Daniel run into Maddie's room. Corbyn and I ran towards Maddie's room and saw her screaming and punching Jack. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!?" I screamed.

She turned to me and looked furious. She ran at me and I pushed her back. Zach grabbed her arms and whirled her around. "I'm only going to say this once. So listen and listen good. Get the fuck out of this house and never, and I mean NEVER, come back. Got it?" Zach said sternly. "I've never seen him so mad before" Daniel leaned down and whispered in my ear.

Maddie looked scared. I know Zach wouldn't hit a girl so she's only scared because of how serious he looked, and Zach is never serious. Maddie turned around and grabbed her bags, that are packed. She stormed out of the room but before she left she whispered "whore" in my ear. I grabbed her arm. "Look. I never did anything to you. And I don't know how many times I need to tell you that I didn't kiss Jack, but now I honestly don't care if you believe me or not" I let go of her arm.

I saw the fury in her eyes leave. "Go" I looked away. I heard her walk away. I heard the front door slam shut and my heart broke. I broke down. Daniel and Corbyn went to see if Maddie really left while I stayed here with Jonah, Zach and Jack. "SHE TOOK MY CAR!!" Daniel screamed. I ran towards the front door and saw Maddie speeding off in Daniel's car. I mean, she did say if she were to ever commit, she'd steal a car and go off a bridge.

Those words hadn't processed in my head. Once they did, I grabbed Corbyn's keys and ran out of the house. I jumped into his car and didn't even notice Zach was already in the drivers seat. I handed him the keys and he punched the gas down the street. Zach was right behind Daniel's car now, I called the police because I don't know what she's going to do or where she's going. Well actually she's not going to do anything because I won't let her.

The police are now behind us. It looks like Maddie's driving towards the pier. NO!!! "MADDIE PULL OVER" I repeatedly screamed. Maddie started driving down the pier. "STOP THE CAR!" I screamed at Zach. He stopped the car and I jumped out, I ran as fast as I could to Maddie's car, she just wouldn't stop. "STOP!" I screamed. I felt my heart shatter as Daniel's car hit the water.

"NO" I screamed. I jumped into the water and swam towards Daniel's car, I saw Maddie banging on the window. I grabbed the car door handle as I felt something hit my head. Everything turned blurry but I pushed through it. I got Maddie to the surface but everything turned black after the police grabbed Maddie.

Zach

I helped the officer pull Maddie out of the water. I looked around and didn't see Celeste. Just then, everything turned into slow motion as I handed Maddie to a police officer, I turned around and jumped into the water. I could hear the police screaming and yelling at me. I ignored it. I searched all around the water. And I finally found her. I snaked my arm around her and swam back up to the surface.

I handed Celeste to a firefighter and climbed out of the water. "EVERYONE BACK UP!!" I yelled. "Who are you?" A firefighter asked. "I-I'm..." I started. "I'm her boyfriend..." WHAT. Just leave it at that Zach. "...and the father of her unborn child. Now would you please move!?" I frantically rambled. Everyone backed up. I started doing CPR. After 2 minutes, she still wasn't moving. "Come on son, it's too late.." The officer placed a hand on my shoulder.

"NO I WON'T GIVE UP!" I screamed. Tears started falling down my face. Another 3 minutes later and Celeste still wasn't moving. "Come on" I cried. 30 seconds later I started to give up. I cried on her chest. "You can't leave me here" I cried. "Come on son, she's gone" the officer pulled me up. I cried even harder. A woman, that didn't look any older then 30, came over to me and grabbed my arm gently.

I turned to her with even more tears falling from my eyes. "When a young boy cries over a girl, he is no longer a boy, but a man. And he truly loved her" she smiled at me. I gave her a hug. I couldn't watch as the police began putting Celeste into a body bag. Corbyn, Daniel, Jack, and Jonah came running into the scene and they saw the look on my face. Jonah looked away as he started to cry.

Corbyn did too as the tears started to fall from his eyes. Daniel and Jack came over to me as the police began to put Celeste's body in the back of an ambulance.
