Jonah and Jack looked at Gabbie and I, then they turned to the guys. "Do any of you guys wanna come with us?" Jack asked. "I'm going to hangout with Christina" Corbyn shrugged. "I don't feel good so I'm gonna take a nap" Daniel sighed. He has been sick lately. "I can't" Zach looked at his phone. "Zach what plans could you possibly have?" Jonah laughed. "I have a date" Zach popped up. "Oooooo my boy Zach got himself a date" I ruffled his hair.
"You go Zach" I high fived him. Everyone looked at me as I high fived him. "Alright let's head to the mall now" Gabbie laughed. Jonah, Jack, Gabbie and I all headed outside to Jonah's car. I sat in the back by Gabbie and Jack sat in front by Jonah. It was a fun car ride until we were almost at the mall and Jonah turned the music down and looked at me in the rearview mirror. "So, I know we're all wondering the same thing" Jonah said putting his eyes back on the road.
"And that is?" I asked. "How do you feel?" Jack asked. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Zach? His date?" Gabbie questioned. "Oh, I'm happy for him, he's my best friend. I love seeing him happy" I smiled. "You're not in any way hurt?" Jonah asked. "No? Why would I be?" I laughed. Everyone looked at me. "Oh, you guys thought I liked him...." I paused. "No I don't like Zach in that way, we were just really close friends, nothing more" I shook my head as Jonah pulled into the malls parking lot.
"Well you go girl, be independent" Gabbie high fived me. "Coming from the one who kissed Jack" I joked. Gabbie went pale. So did Jack. "How did you know?" She asked. "WAIT WHAT" Jonah and I screamed at the same time. "YOU GUYS ACTUALLY KISSED!?! I WAS JUST KIDDING!?" I yelled as Jonah pulled into a parking spot. "....welp Now you know, but we aren't dating yet" Jack laughed. "This is a whole new level of awkward" Jonah shook his head.
We all laughed and got out of the car. We headed into the mall and the first store I went to was hot topic. The day was full of shopping and laughing, etc. But my fat ass got hungry so we headed over to the food court. I got Chinese food with Gabbie and Jonah and Jack got chipotle. We all sat down at a table. Gabbie looked at something behind me then looked at me. "Hot guy staring at you" she whispered. I turned around and saw a group of hot guys staring at us.
But one specific one caught my eye and he was jaw droppingly gorgeous. I turned back to Gabbie. "They are way too fine to be staring at me" I frantically whispered. "Girl you're freaking beautiful as hell, shut up" Jonah snapped his fingers. Jack grabbed Gabbie's hand. "Just so they know that I'm already shooting my shot. We turned back to the boys and 2 of them dropped their heads in disappointment. "Which one do you have your eye on?" Gabbie asked. "The tall one in the black hoodie" I pointed to him.
"Ooouuuu okay" Gabbie high fived me. We all laughed. I was sitting next to Jonah. "Jonah, try standing up and walking away, I think they're waiting to see if you grab Ellie's hand" Jack laughed. Jonah nodded and stood up and walked to the bathroom. Jack and Gabbie pretended to be in their own conversation. I sat there and ate my food. I heard footsteps and got excited. Please be that cute guy. Sure enough, it wasn't. It was one of his friends, he was cute too but there was something about the other guy. He sat down in front of me.
I looked up at him. "Hey, my name is Jaden" he smiled nicely. "hi I'm Ellie" I smiled in response. "So my friend, the tall one in the black hoodie over there" he pointed to him. I looked over at him and he turned around and scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. I laughed and looked back at Jaden. "The tall one? What about him" I smiled. "He wanted to know if that was your boyfriend that just went to the bathroom?" Jaden asked. I looked at Gabbie and Jack and we all burst out laughing.
"No he was not my boyfriend" I laughed. "So you're single?" Jaden asked. I nodded. "That's all I needed to know" Jaden smiled. "Nice meeting you" he gave me a hug. "You too" I hugged him back. He stood up and walked away. I looked at Gabbie and Jack. "So, that happened" they both laughed. "Yeah, I didn't think he was going to-" "QUICK THE HOT ONES COMING" Gabbie whisper yelled. I guess it wasn't quiet enough because I heard the group of boys laughing.
Jack looked at Gabbie and Gabbie turned the other way. I started laughing. Jonah poked his head out of the bathroom. Jack shooed him back in. The boy came and sat in front of me. I looked up at him, his jawline is freaking gorgeous. "hi, my name is Anthony" he laughed. "hi, I'm Ellie" I laughed. "So, I was just wondering if I could get your number?" Anthony asked. I looked at Gabbie and high fived her. "Sure, give me your phone" I nodded. He handed me his phone and I typed my number in and saved my contact name as "El💞"

I handed him his phone and he looked at the picture and smiled. "You're goofy" he laughed. "Guilty as charged" I flipped my hair. We both started laughing. "Well it was nice meeting you" Anthony smiled. "You too" I smiled. He gave me a hug and I hugged him back. "See ya later beautiful" Anthony winked as he walked away. I looked at Gabbie. "I GOT THE GIRL!" I heard Anthony yell. I turned around and he looked at me, turned on his heels and walked away while awkwardly scratching the back of his neck. I smiled and laughed.
