As soon as I got to the Curtis house I knocked on the door before I had fallen to the ground and passed out. When I woke up I was laying on the couch with Ponyboy sitting on the floor next to it. I quickly sat up causing my head to hurt worse. Ponyboy looked at me, "Y/N! What happened to you?!" I looked at him and began to speak. "I-I uh... I fell.. D-down onto the uh.. Pavement.." I barely managed to think of an excuse. Two-Bit walked out of the kitchen. "64." He said as he walked out and sat down on the couch next to me. I looked at him blankly. "Huh?" Two looked at Pony and then me. "64 times you've come up with an excuse for your injuries." I acted confused. "W-what do you mean? I don't.." I paused and looked around. "I don't make excuses! I- All that is what happens! I'm just c-clumsy!" Pony looked down. "Y/N. We know you're lying to us. Just make it easier on yourself and tell us what's really going on." I looked at them both and sighed. "I can't." Ponyboy looked up. "What do you mean you can't? You can't what??" I sighed, "I can't tell you." They looked at me, and they looked angry and confused..or worried. "Why can't you tell us? Y/N is something wrong?" Two-Bit said. I started fiddling around with my fingers and looking around all nervous. "H-he s-said if I t-told anyone I'd be... done for.." I stuttered. Ponyboy stood up, "Y/N, who told you that!?" I looked down at my hands. "M-my..." I felt tear drops falling down my cheeks. "My father.." I whispered. They looked at eachother and looked back at me. Ponyboy sat on the couch next to me and wrapped his arms around me. "Ain't nobody gonna hurt you, Y/N. Not while the gang's around. I looked at him, "D-Don't tell the rest of the gang.. Please." Two-Bit looked at us, "Fine..we'll keep it between the 3 of us." He said as Dally and Johnny walked in, confused. "Keep what between the 3 of you?" Johnny asked. Me, Pony, and Two looked at eachother. Two shrugged and mouthed 'Can we tell?' I sighed and nodded as I wiped some tears off my face.
