I'm the last of Clint, Tony, and I by the time it's my stop.

"Hey, Peter," is the first thing I hear when I walk in the door.

"Hey, aunt, May," I say, stepping into the kitchen for a snack.

"How was that GSA club?"

"It was good," I tell her, grabbing the bread and peanut butter to make a peanut butter sandwich. "I met someone," I add.

"Oh? A love interest?" she asks, carefully.

"Maybe," I say, teasingly.

"What's his name?"

"Harry," I say, smiling.

"Ooh, what's he like?" she asks. Ugh. I hate it when she probes me like that. It gives me bad anxiety.

"He's really nice. He's a Tim Burton fan, too. His favorite movie is Coraline," I tell her, putting the two of bread together and taking a bite.

"Oh, he sounds nice." I make an agreeing hum as I chee my food. "Did you get his number?" she asks, casually.

I nearly choke on my sandwich and I manage to get out the words, "aunt May!"

"What? I'm just trying to-"

I cut her off midsentence and finish it with, "Force your way into my love life?"

She lets out a chuckle and says, "No. I'm just trying to figure out how to be a good guardian."

"May! You know I hate that word. It makes me feel like I'm back in the foster system."

"Right," she remebers. "I'm sorry, Peter."

"It's alright  aunt May."

She smiles and says, "You wouldn't rather me call myself your 'caretaker', would you?"

I chuckle. "Of course not," I say, finishing my sandwich and putting my plate in the sink.

I head to my room and aunt May quickly says, "Dinner's at six."

I smile and say, "Thanks. Love you, aunt May."

"Love you too, Peter," she says as I enter the hallway, heading to my room.

I flip the light switch up and notice, again, the pile of wrapped presents; although they have been moved to my floor at the foot of my bed.
