The ride is mostly quiet, us still getting to know each other. After about 25 minutes, because of traffic, we arrive at the library. Well, we arrive down the street from the library.
"So, I was thinking we could both do our Intros here," Sam said.
"Yeah, that's what I thought too," I told him.
"Then let's do it," Hayden said, and opened her car door. I had parked beside of a big tree so that no cops could see my car from the road.
We all got out of the car and got our bags out of the trunk. While Sam was setting up their camera, Colby was asking Hayden questions, even though she's actually never been here.
"So, is there like security or something? Like, what's the catch?" he asked her.
"I'm not sure, you'll have to ask Andy," she tells him and nods in my direction. He nods and a few seconds later, he meanders over to me.
"So, Andy, what's the deal with this place? Is it watched by anyone? Is it haunted? What's up with it?" he asks me while I set my camera up on the top of my car.
"There's no security, but there are neighbors that live near it. They watch the place pretty closely," I tell him, positioning my camera to face me.
"Ahh okay, so it's not haunted?" he asks because I didn't answer that part.
"Some people believe it is. I think they're just imagining things. Like, my friend Ryan. He came with me last time and he swore up and down something touched him on the shoulder, but he was already scared so I took what he said with a grain of salt," I explained.
"Do you not believe in ghosts?" he asks, shocked. I don't know why. It's not like it's a sin not to believe.
"I do believe, I just know that a ghost can't hurt me," I shrug.
"Huh," he nodded in understanding. "So, where's your boyfriend now?"
"My boyfriend?" I asked, confused.
"Yeah, that Ryan guy you were talking about. Where is he?" he asks, looking over at Sam who had just finished setting up their camera, and then back to me.
"Ryan's not my boyfriend," I laugh.
"Oh, I just assumed. I'm sorry," he laughs, kind of awkwardly.
"It's okay. I don't have a boyfriend at all," his eyes scan over my face as I talk, "Though sometimes I wish I did because exploring would definitely be easier if I had someone readily available to go with me."
"Yeah, I understand. It's always hard to convince friends to go because they don't want to get arrested. Which I guess I don't blame them for really," he shrugs.
"Yeah, this is kind of something you really have to have a passion for because every time you go, you're risking a lot," I nod my head.
"Exactly! It's really not something that a random person can just decide to do one day," he laughs.
"Colby! Are you ready?" Sam interrupted our conversation.
"Yeah, sorry," Colby tells Sam and walks over to him. Sam hits the record button on their camera and begins their Intro.
"What's up guys! It's Sam and Colby," Colby performs their famous Intro, emphasis on the 'what'.
"So, today guys, we're in Nebraska!" Sam says excitedly, "Now I know what you guys are wondering. What the heck are they doing in Nebraska?"
"Well that's because we have a very special guest. The collab you've all been waiting for," Sam says, rubbing his hands together.
"Andy Smith!!!" Sam and Colby yell in unison, while Colby tugs me into the frame by my arm.
