The weekend flew by and before I knew it Sunday was here, so that meant Sam and Colby were either coming to or already in Kansas. Sam still hasn't texted me a confirmation on what day yet, but I'm sure he will soon.

As of right now, I'm eating lunch with my Dad and step-mom. My mom died when I was 7, so it was just me, my dad, and my younger sister for years. Until about 3 years ago, my dad met Tasha, and he was able to find love again. 1 year after that, Tasha gave birth to another girl. So now there's four girls and my dad. My younger sister is 13, and I'm 20. My baby sister is 2.

"So, Andy, how is your YouTube channel going?" Tasha asked me as she took a bite of her chicken.

"Really well actually. I'm collaborating with a really popular channel next week," I couldn't help but brag.

"Who?" my younger sister, Janet, asked.

"Sam and Colby," I told her, wiggling my eyebrows. She snorted.

"No way," she laughed, "you're lying."

"I'm actually not," I tell her.

"Oh my God!! That's so awesome!! Can I come?" she asked.

"Absolutely not. You're not going to break the law. It's bad enough your sister does it so often," my dad interrupted.

"Dad, please! I'll be extra careful!" she begged.

"No. Now eat your food," he gestured to her plate, clearly not open to discussing it any further. She frowned and looked down at her lap.

"You couldn't come anyways Janet, Hayden is already going with me. Everyone knows anything over 4 is a good way to get caught," I scoffed. She only rolled her eyes in response. Technically, anything over 1 is risky, but I wasn't going to say that.

"Can you pass the mashed potatoes? Lily wants some more," Tasha asked me, referring to my baby sister. I quickly handed them to her.

It was around 7 P.M. now and Sam still hasn't texted me. I'd began to think he had forgotten about me altogether. I know he didn't, but my anxiety got the best of me sometimes.

I just got out of the shower when my phone rang. It was Sam, calling me. Oh my God. What do I do? I scramble to find a towel to wrap around my body. Once I do, I grab my phone and answer it quickly.

"Hello?" I say into the device.

"Hey! Andy, right?" Sam responded. Finally using my nickname.

"Yeah, that's me," I tried to act nonchalant, but I was dying on the inside.

"Alright, cool. What are you up to?" he asks, a door shutting in the background.

"I just got out of the shower," I spoke honestly.

"Oh okay. Would you be up to facetiming?" he asked and then realized what he said, "I mean, after you get dressed of course."

"Yeah, can you give me like ten minutes?" I ask and look at myself in the mirror.

"Yeah, of course. Talk to you soon," he says and hangs up.

Okay, I have to get ready in ten minutes. I run to my room, dry myself off and begin looking for pajamas that are appropriate to facetime someone in. I look through my drawers before settling on a KISS T-shirt I had found at a thrift shop, and simple black leggings. I towel dried my hair as good as I could, but it was still damp when I sat down and opened my laptop.

I clicked on Sam's contact, and pressed the facetime button. My nerves being through the roof when I did. As I waited for him to answer, I adjusted the laptop on my lap, so I was facing the screen perfectly.
