"So, does this place have a lot of security?" Colby asks, turning on the heat. Even though it got warmer in the daytime, it was still chilly in the mornings.
"Not really. I mean, there's some, but that's not really the concern about going there," I explain.
"Then what is?" he asks, looking at me then back at the road.
"Homeless people tend to stay there," I tell him, hoping this won't change their mind about going there. Which I didn't think it would because it's never scared them off before in their videos.
"Yikes," Colby laughs. Sam chuckles in the backseat.
"This is going to be terrifying," Sam says, making my stomach to turn. I don't know why I'm nervous now. I'd literally been here with my friend Ryan like 3 other times. I shouldn't be scared.
"We have a great tour guide, so I think we'll be okay," Colby says and smirks at me. I don't why, but this causes me to blush.
We stop at Starbucks and get coffees for the road, and to energize ourselves. About 45 minutes later, we're getting pretty close to the prison, so I tell Colby to make a sharp turn.
"Turn left down that dirt road," I tell Colby and somehow, he's able to whip it in there fast enough.
"The map says the prison isn't for another mile," Sam says.
"Yeah but to avoid the many neighbors and security guard, we have to walk through the woods. There's a path down this way," I tell them while Colby drives farther down the road, out of the roads view now.
"We have to walk a mile?" Colby whines.
"Yeah, I'm sorry," I apologize.
"It's fine. We've walked much farther," Sam laughs.
Colby finds a good spot to pull off to and parks his car. We all get out and Sam begins setting up his camera.
"This is probably the video we'll post since yesterday's was cut short," Sam tells me.
"I'm sorry. I don't know why she freaked out like that," I tell him honestly.
"It's okay. I completely understand. I'm not mad or anything, I'm just planning ahead," he laughs, fixing his tripod.
"So, which way is the path?" Colby says from right behind me, startling me a bit.
"Jesus Christ. You scared me," I put my hand over my heart.
"Actually, it's just Colby," Colby says and laughs, "but I can see where you'd get confused."
"Oh, shut up," I laugh at his dumb behavior.
"Let's do our Intro, man," Sam tells Colby.
"Alright. 1, 2, 3," Sam says and presses record on the camera.
"What's up guys! It's Sam and Colby" Colby performs their famous Intro.
"We filmed an Intro already, but our footage got messed up. It's a long story we don't really feel like getting into. So, we're going to do an announcement instead," Sam said, confusing me.
"For the first time ever on the Sam and Colby channel. A collab you've all been waiting for! Andrea Smith!" Sam said, and Colby pulled me by arm into the frame. Almost exactly like he had done yesterday.
"Hi guys! Andy here! I'm so fucking excited to be here!" I said, sounding really energetic. Probably from the large coffee I drank. I'm practically shaking.
"She's really excited, as you can see," Colby says while he raises his eyebrows and widens his eyes at my hyper self.
"I'm really sorry guys. I drank a BIG coffee and I am fucking pumped. I'm also sorry I keep cussing, just bleep it out. I'm sorry again," I said, moving back and forth on my heels.
