"Have you decided what you're going to wear, yet?" Hayden asked me, as she walked into my 'bedroom'.

"I mean, kinda. I don't want to try really hard because it's just Colby. I know him pretty well now.." I told her, while sorting through clothes.

"Yes, but he's never seen you on a date before. You need to look hot as fuck," Hayden said, taking my suitcase from me to sort through, "there's nothing in here but leggings, t-shirts, and hoodies."

"Well yeah, I mean we knew that. I don't usually wear dresses or skirts or stuff like that.." I tell her, looking down at my lap.

"Hold on, I think I have something in my suitcase. If not, we can always ask Kat," Hayden says, getting up to go check her bags.

A few minutes later, she returns with some fishnet tights, a sheer black shirt and a bright blue romper.

"Will this work?" She asks, holding them up.

"Yeah, and I think I have some boots that will look good with that.." I tell her, opening my bag of shoes that I brought. Which had my platform boots inside.

"Alright, good. I already know what I'm going to wear so I'm not worried.." Hayden says, before walking out of the room. I hang my outfit up on one of the chairs by the bar, and then go sit on the couch.

I pull out my phone and realize I've been here for a couple days now and haven't talked to my dad since the phone call when I first got here, so I called him.

"Hello?" his voice answers, sounding rushed.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked him.

"About to take your sister to band practice," He tells me.

"Oh, that's cool. Tell Janet I said hey.." I tell him, looking down at my lap. This happens a lot. I feel like I'm annoying him or anyone else I try to talk to.

"I will, how's California?" he asks me, and I start to hear crying in the back ground.

"It's really fun, actually. I wish you could see it," I laugh.

"I've been before, but you're right. I'd love to go again with you and my other girls," he says and I hear Janet's voice in the background.

"It sounds like you're pretty busy, so I'll let you go.." I say, laughing awkwardly.

"Yeah, things are just hectic around here right now. I'll text you to check up on you later.." he says, a car door shutting in the background.

"Alright, I love you Dad. Bye," I tell him and he says it back before ending the call.

I look at the time and it reads 3:00 PM, so I still have a while before the whole 'date situation', so I decide to take a nap, not having anything else to do really. I was probably going to do the touristy stuff after Hayden left at the end of the week because she hates doing that kind of stuff.

I lay down on the couch and close my eyes, before long, I'm drifting off into a beautiful sleep.

-

"Andy, wake the fuck up.." Hayden whispers in my face. I slowly blink my eyes slowly.

"What time is it?" I ask, sitting up on the couch.

"Seven PM," Hayden says, clicking her phone on to show the time.

"Oh shit, I need to get ready.." I said, getting up to go take a shower. Luckily, Devyn agreed to let me use hers.

After I finished, I went downstairs and grabbed my makeup bag. I decided for a more beat face today since I hadn't really done that yet.

Within an hour, Hayden and I were both dressed and ready to go.
