Macy's pov-

I woke up, once again in Bailey's arms. Lately, we've been inseparable. Ever since I told him about my past, he's been there for me. Now, don't get me wrong, he's still a narcissistic asshole but he's a lot more tolerable now.

I've been doing a lot better since everything happened. I've been taking better care of myself. I've accepted people's help. I've also been staying at home more often to let my wounds heal. That also means that I've been spending a lot more time with Justin. We've become a lot closer recently. About my wounds, they're pretty much healed by now. So, to sum it all up, I'm doing well. Actually, the best that I've done in a while.

Bailey and I joined our gangs together. We know that it's for the best and that we would never have hurt each other's gang anyways. Bailey and I split the work pretty evenly and we've stopped just killing people for others. We kill for safety and we kill for what's right.

I stand up and get off of the bed before reaching over and shaking Bailey to wake him up. When he didn't, I grabbed a pillow and hit him. And hit him. Over and over again until he grabs the pillow out of my hands and throws it back at me. He groans and falls back onto the bed.

"Bailey, get up. We have to go to school today. If we miss any more days we're not going to be able to graduate," I whine before getting up and heading to my closet.

I'm picking out my clothes when Bailey comes and hugs me from behind, setting his chin on my head. "Happy Halloween, love." Oh, yeah. It's Halloween today. I don't usually celebrate it. I'm usually too busy. I turn around in his arms.

"Happy Halloween. Don't you have to go back to your house to change clothes."

"Ah, yes I do. I've got to go, meet you at school?" He turns around and kisses me on my forehead.

"Yup," I say as he walks out and I grab a pile of clothes. We've haven't gone out on a date yet but we pretty much act like a couple. I walk to the bathroom and start the shower before turning it to hot. It's been getting colder outside the deeper we get into fall. I'm not going to lie, I miss the snow in New York. I'm hoping to go visit during winter break.

I hop into the shower and wash off, savoring the heat. I get out and dry off before changing in a black long sleeve under a baggy graphic tee and put on a pair of fishnets before overlapping a pair of ripped black jeans. I added my slip on vans and grabbed my backpack before heading downstairs. I go downstairs and greet everyone in the kitchen before heading to the toaster and pop in a bagel.

"Happy Halloween! Are we gonna go trick or treating," Justin asks while walking into the kitchen, ruffling his wet hair. He had a smile plastered on his face, eyes lit up like a child who is about to get a cookie. Of curse, we have no cookies because Justin burnt them all, but you get the point.

"No, no, no, no. I'm not going trick or treating," I respond.

"Oh, come on. It's tradition," Justin whines with a pleading look on his face.

"Tradition is just peer pressure from old people," I grumbled while eating my bagel.

"Fine. But if we're not going trick or treating then we're at least going to invite Bailey and his friends over to watch movies," he reasoned.

"Okay. I'll tell him about it at school," I said before I said by and walked out front to my car. I drive to school and park once I get there. I get out and Sasha comes up to me right as I enter the school.

She invited me to sit with her on the first day of school, but I declined, rather politely, might I add. But she didn't want to take no for an answer so I just walked past her ramming my shoulder into her. Long story short, she tried to slap me but instead, she ended up needing another nose job.

"What do you want, Sasha," I groaned, already annoyed.

"You need to stay away from Bailey," she said to me in her snobby, high pitched voice. I just let out a humorless chuckle.

"Seriously, this talk? You know that if Bailey wanted you he would already have you but, I guess not, huh," I said with a serious face and my eyebrow raised. I've barely interacted with her, but I am already tired of everything about her.

"You bitch! Of course, he wants me. Who doesn't," she said with an extra dramatic gasp and accusingly pointing a finger at me

"Well, obviously Bailey. Don't call me a bitch," I said with an added glare.

"What? Would you rather be called slut? Whore, psycho, the list goes on," she said with a smirk.

"Me? The slut? Ha, you obviously don't know what that means because last time I checked you were the one that doesn't know how to close her legs."

"It's not my fault that all the boys love me and not you. You're just jealous."I walk over to the trashcan and grab it. I walked over to her as she said," What do you think you're doing?"

"I'm just doing what my last fortune cookie said. Who am I to stand in the way of fate?" I take the trash can and I dump it over her head.

"There. Now the trash is where it belongs," I say with a smirk as I walk past her and to English class, which I'm already late for.

I open the door with a bang and walk straight to a seat in the back. I decided to freak the teacher out and while I sat down I said," I know the voices aren't real but they come up with really great ideas." Everyone looked at me like I was crazy except Bailey and his friends were trying to keep their laughter in.

Our eyes meet and his are lit up with amusement and laughter. He smiles at me and I tilt my head at him. I haven't smiled since I was drunk. Although, I am starting to finally feel something that I haven't felt in a long time, happy.
