Macy's pov-
Currently, I'm sitting in my room with Arda, who is constantly poking and prodding at my face with her evil angled brushes. One just happens to land directly in my eye, "Ow! Arda, again?"
"Oops," she said while covering her mouth. We look at each other for a few seconds before we both burst out laughing. "You know, I'm glad that you're laughing."
I smile. "Me too. After I told Bailey everything, I realized that it's okay to be a little messed up. I mean, it's boring to be completely sane anyways. All my scars just prove that I fought my way through everything. And I won. I just stood back up when my thoughts knocked me down. " I reply as she goes back to doing my makeup. If you couldn't tell, we're helping each other do makeup and hair.
Lexi and Carmen decided not to go as they wanted to stay at home and eat a bunch of ice cream. I was tempted to join them, but as the top gang leader in the US, It's kinda mandatory.
"Done," Arda says and smiles. I turn to look in the mirror and I'm not going to be like all the other girls and say that I don't recognize myself because I do. I look like a badass bitch. Just a very sophisticated badass bitch.
My eyeshadow is gold and sparkly with a long wing and I have a pair of fake eyelashes with a light coat of mascara. I am wearing a dark burgundy lip and tons, and I mean Tons, of highlights. My foundation is light and you can still see my freckles that are on my nose. "Woah, dang girl! You made me look great!"
My hair is in a half up half down with it slightly curled. "Thanks so much, Arda! What would I do without you?" I stand up and go to hug her but she pushes me away.
"No no no! You are not going to ruin all the hard work I did. Now, chop-chop. My turn," she says and squeals. She loves it when I do her make up. I am terrible if I do my own makeup but I can do it on other people. She quickly sits down as I chuckle and reach for a makeup palette. I do a simple, sweet look with a pinkish lip. I simply straighten her naturally curly hair.I turn her around and she has the same reaction I had.
After a couple of minutes of staring at ourselves in the mirror, we rush to put our dresses on as it's 7:30 and we leave for the gala at 8. I help Arda get into her off the shoulder baby blue dress. It is fitting on the top and flows all the way to the floor. Oh, and don't forget about the slit running up the right side.
Then, she helps me get into mine. It's a dark burgundy color with spaghetti straps and two straps crossing at the front. Like Arda's, mine is fitted at the top then flowy all the way down, as well as a slit on the left side. The best part about mine is that mine has pockets. I put on a pair of matching heels and Arda put on matching chunky heels.
We slowly make our way out of my room after we grab our guns and knives and strap them on. Arda and I are laughing the whole way down the stairs, while the boys are talking at the bottom. Bailey's back is turned towards me. When we reach the floor Axel's eyes widen and he clears his throat. He is wearing a black suit with a baby blue tie. He makes his way towards Arda when Bailey turns to look at me.
His eyes widen as he looks me up and down. I take the time to do the same. His dark hair is neatly combed back and his green eyes are shining brighter than ever. He's wearing a black suit that fits him perfectly. He has a shiny, dark red tie that matches what I'm wearing.
I looked back at his face and his mouth was slightly hanging down so I slowly walked over to him and used my finger to gently close it. With a smirk on my face, I tilt my head up to look him in the eyes. "You look great, Macy," he said while rubbing the back of his neck.
"Thanks, you clean up nicely too," I said with a smile. He reflects my smile and offers a hand to me. I take it and we walk outside and into the limo that's awaiting. We get in after Arda and Axel. The driver starts driving towards our location and we make small talk on our way there. I sometimes caught Bailey starting at me, but he always turned away when I looked at him.
The car stops and we start to get out. Bailey helps me out and we walk inside. The ballroom is owned by Lora and Tom Morrison. They are the people who set up all the gang meetings and events. They have a bunch of money but they don't like to be in the middle of anything so they just stay to themselves. They're not like the mean, snobby rich people. They have actually been good friends ever since I've met them.
Lora is at the door when we walk in. "Hello, Macy! It's been so long since we've seen you. You look beautiful," she greets.
I give her a small smile. "You look just as good as you did last year, Lora," I reply formally. It was true. She always had a great sense of style.
"Aw, thank you, dear. Well, go. Have fun and enjoy the party," she says and gestures to us to go inside. I give her a quick nod and we walk inside. In the middle of the room is a giant crystal chandelier and tables adorned with silk table cloths are around the outer edges of the room with the middle opened for dancing. We go and sit at our reserved table.
I sit down next to Bailey and Arda. On the other side of Arda is, of course, Axel. They are the cutest couple ever. I take a sip of champagne and sigh as I listen to classical music. This is going to be a long night.
