Macy's Pov-
After a while when we've watched a couple of movies, I am about to pull my hair out as Bailey keeps making the stupidest jokes ever. I'm upside down, hanging off of the couch as everyone else is sleeping. Everyone except Bailey and me, because he won't fucking shut up! Sorry, I'm annoyed.
Just as he was about to say another joke I cut him off. "Just stop. I only have a certain level of sanity, and you're not helping me keep it," I growled out as I do this weird backward roll off of the couch and walk into the kitchen. I grab a sprinkled donut and start eating it while leaning against the counter.
As I was about halfway done with my donut when of course, Bailey came in asking questions. "What are you doing?"
I sigh while taking another bite. "Exercising."
"By eating a donut?"
"Yup. Gotta keep my killer jawline in shape," I said in a matter-of-factly sorta way.
I heard Bailey laugh as he took the donut out of my hand and ate the last bite. "I don't think that that's how it works."
"You. Monster," I glare at him.
"What," he asks like he did nothing wrong.
"You ate my donut," I said with a pouty face.
"Hey, don't pout. I'll get you a new donut when it's not two in the morning. Why don't you show me that dazzling smile instead?"
"Promise," I say and hold out my pinky. He links pinkies with mine and kisses his hand. I do the same then look at him and smile.
He pulls me into a hug. "I love your smile." After a long pause, he adds," let's go to sleep upstairs." He turns around to walk to my room and I hop onto his back. I snuggle my head into his neck as he walks up the stairs. We get to my room and he sets me down on the bed. He tucks me under the covers and starts to walk away. I grab his hand and roughly pull him onto the bed.
"Stay. Even if it's just until I fall asleep," I say as I look at him. I've only been sleeping lately because he's been with me. I'm too scared for the dreams to come back.
"Why?"
"I don't usually sleep well," I mumbled.
"Why not?" What's with all the questions?
"My mind has the scary capability of being dark and demented."
"You are afraid of your dreams?"
"Yes," I said quietly, scared of how he will react. I don't know why I'm still scared of his reactions. I've told him everything and I'm scared to tell him that I have bad dreams.
"Then I'll never leave. I have them too," he whispered then wrapped his arms around me. He pulled me tightly against him as I fell asleep.

It's been a week and today is Saturday. Nothing important happened at school. Sasha has been either glaring at me or smiling at me. Gang stuff has been going slowly too. No one dares to mess with us like usual, so the business has been slow.
I wake up in Bailey's arms and look up at him. I saw his hair and I couldn't stop myself. I started running my hands through his dark hair gently. After about a few moments I hear a groan and I pull my hand out. "Why'd you stop," Bailey whines while looking at me.
"You were awake that whole time, weren't you," I question with a little smile.
"Maybe, maybe not." He smirks. "But, either way, keep on doing it." He closed his eyes once more as I ran my hands through his hair. After a few more minutes, I hear Arda yell.
"Macy!"
I groan. "Go away," I say and Bailey looks at me confused.
"What on earth?"
"Sorry, not you. I was yelling at my responsibilities."
He chuckles and asks," What do you have to do with Arda?"
"She and I need to go shopping for gala dresses." There is a gala for gangs in the area and of course, I'm going. So is Bailey, so it shouldn't be that bad.
"Well, speaking of, do you want to be my date," he asks, rubbing a hand behind his neck in a nervous fashion.
"Aww, are you nervous," I say with a goofy smile. I've been smiling a lot more lately.
"Umm, no. Pfft, what? I don't get nervous," he says while looking away.
I laugh and turn his face back towards me. "Of course I'll go with you. And don't worry, you look cute when you're nervous."
"I'm not cute. I'm handsome and hot but not cu-" he starts to say but is cut off by Arda's yelling again.
"Macy, if you are not down here in ten minutes, I am going to come up there and drag you out of bed myself!"
With that, I stand and walk to my closet. I grab black jeans and a dark purple t-shirt. I quickly got changed and yes, yes, I did close the door. I grabbed my black vans and put them on.
I walked out and Bailey 100% checked me out. "What, no checkers," he asks.
"Oh, yeah. You must've not heard about the mud incident."
"I'll ask about it later."
"Yeah, good idea," I said, still bitter about losing my shoe to the mud. I'm gonna buy a new pair today. I put my hair up into a high ponytail. My dark teal hair is slightly fading. I'm going to have to get it done before the ball. Maybe today.
I wave at Bailey sitting on the bed still. "Macy," Arda yells again.
"I guess that I should go. I'll see you later, yeah?"
"Yeah," he replied.
I blew him a kiss and walked out and downstairs. Time for my shopping adventure.
