My eyes opened and I began to wake up naturally. Which that hasn't happened for a long time, which means I overslept. I flipped my phone over and glanced at the time, 10:47 a.m. Maybe I'd get an "excuse card" because I was flying yesterday. I rubbed my eyes, smearing the mascara I missed last night onto my under eyes.

Strangely enough, I forgot I was in the Traphouse. Which I don't know why my dumb ass self didn't recognize that my room was completely different. I quickly styled my hair into a messy bun and dashed down the stairs into the kitchen.

"Good morning Violet." Jake was cooking bacon at the stove. Sam walked down completely dressed, ready for the day and slid behind me. Damn, I guess people out in LA were really on top of their game. "I wouldn't eat that. Jake once put hot sauce in our pizza rolls and let's just say that the bathrooms were NOT pretty for a while."

"Sam, I'm not going to put hot sauce on bacon. That just ruins bacon and that's mean to do to Violet." Jake rolled his eyes.

"As long as you promise you didn't put anything spicy on that, we're good." I tried to join in on the joke but I feel like I made everyone seem uncomfortable. "So just Devyn and I are the only girls who live here?"

"Yeah. Katrina and Tara both live with their parents yet but Devyn and Corey have the master bedroom upstairs." Jake explained the whole thing to me and this time I actually was paying attention.

"Oh mkay, I gotcha." Jake handed me a plate a food, "You're not vegan or anything are you? I worked hard on this."

"Haha, no. I'm not vegan. Thank you for the breakfast Jake. I appreciate it." I took the plate of food from him and sat at the table on the edge of the big counter.

Jake seemed really nice too. He left out all the food in a buffet format, got a plate of food for himself, and came and sat across from me. "So how's life going?" Okay, since when has anyone cared how I was doing? Besides Corey but, I don't know. Before I had the chance to answer, Sam came down the stairs, "Colby and I are going to go to Target or something to pick up groceries. We're thinking about throwing a party so Violet can meet people that drop by the house frequently. Or.. just a bunch of random people." Colby walked downstairs behind him. He was wearing a Snapback hat, a red shirt with the sleeves cut off, black skinny jeans and black shoes.

I saw him look at me, but he waved at Jake. He didn't really say much, he just seemed like he was pretending to check his phone. He also had a his car keys on a lanyard and he kept swinging it around his finger. "Alright Sam, I'm finally up before 11:30 let's go."

"See ya." Jake and I happened to say the same thing at the same time. We turned toward each other and giggled. "Maybe I can ask Tara if she wants to come over, that is, only if you want her to. You two could go shopping together or something."

I nodded my head. Tara seemed super nice, but she also intimated me a little bit. It was definitely not her size that intimated me though, I'll tell you that. Haha, shade thrown. Just kidding.

"Alright, I'll go call her really quick." Jake stepped into the garage and I gave him a thumbs up sign and a signal that I was going to go upstairs.

That was nice that Jake made breakfast. Sucks that he already had a girlfriend but she seemed really nice. It's just even more awkward because I was probably going to be shopping with her in like an hour. So.

I went to the bathroom to take a shower, unbothered. Everyone seemed to be doing their own thing this morning. After I showering, I threw on an olive green halter crop top, a white lace bralette, jean shorts and white shoes.

Author's Note:

I guess I'm putting one of these after almost every chapter. I just wanted to get some content up today. I wonder how Tara and Violet's shopping experience will go. Until the next chapter..
