Sam insisted on giving me a tour of the house. Apparently I didn't get much of a say out here in LA. Ha, that rhymed. But I'm kidding. Jeez, my inner thoughts are so annoying. We walked into the kitchen, and I admired the space it gave there to be about twenty people in there at once. Corey was already digging through the fridge, while Jake was looking for the phone book to order a pizza. "Hey yo Jake, I'd like you to meet Violet."
Jake turned around on his chair and stood up to give me a hug. "Hey! Welcome to the Traphouse." I smiled. Everyone was unexpectedly nice. I guess the word got around quickly about me. Sam whispered, "Yeah I got excited too and told a bunch of people you were moving here." Ha, I was right. Sam brought me to the living room where Aaron was playing Rocket League and I was introduced to him. Sam seemed excited to show me the outside area, especially the pool. "Sup ladies." Sam playfully greeted the two girls sunbathing outside during the sunset. "Tara, Katrina, this is Violet. Corey's childhood best friend." I smiled and awkwardly waved my hand.
"Wow, you're like, really pretty." Tara looked me up and down and smiled. "Oh, uh thank you." I have no idea on how to accept compliments from people that I don't really know. "Tara is Jake's girlfriend and Katrina is my girlfriend."
"Ah, I see. They seem really nice." I tried to give off a good vibe. But I just felt so awkward. The house was way bigger than I expected.
-time skip-
Sam and I finished the house tour, and surprisingly it took up about twenty minutes. "Alright, that should be about it. We're going to be ordering dinner soon, so hopefully you like pizza and wings."
"Oh, yeah that's fine. I love pizza." I suddenly remembered there was someone else that I didn't get to meet in the Traphouse. "Hey, uh, Sam- isn't there someone else that lives here too?"
"Yeah, Colby lives here too. Upstairs when I showed you my room and your room, his room is right across from mine and yours is between ours." Sam explained it and I understood what he meant but my brain didn't register the words correctly. "You know, he's probably sleeping or editing. He'll be down when the food is here."
"Right.." I went up to my room and changed my outfit into something a little more presentable. Everyone at the house had nice looking clothes and I was just walking around in a hoodie and jean shorts.
My room looked good for guys who put it together. I was surprised on how fast my stuff came. It got here before I was even in Los Angeles. Like it went all the way from Florida, that shit's crazy. I stood in front of my full body mirror and threw on a yellow tank top with black jean shorts and black vans.
After a few minutes, I heard the doorbell ring. Which that probably meant food, and who doesn't like food? Especially if you haven't eaten all day. Pizza sure sounded good even though that's what Corey, Devyn and I got for dinner the night before. I hurried down the steps and skipped into the kitchen with a smile on my face.
"Oouu, someone's happy." Jake teased me. "Well duh. Food would be nice when you haven't eaten since last night." I sarcastically snapped back at him. I went into the garage to go get a drink, and there he was.
