With furrowed eyebrows, Jeongguk steps over and leans through the open window.

"What are you doing here?" Jeongguk asks curiously.

"Had a feeling you'd be here," Jimin answers. "Get in," he says.

Jeongguk just nods and opens the door before slipping into the car seat.

"No limp today," Jimin notes to himself, yet Jeongguk still manages to catch it.

"Didn't know I had a limp before," the younger says quietly. He watches Jimin for a moment but comes away with nothing. No clue as to what his mood is. He feels somewhat worried, but shakes it off and looks ahead, but Jimin hasn't even pulled away from the sidewalk yet.

"I know Hoseok," Jimin finally says.

"You know him? Since when?"

"Since we were teenagers. I just never thought to bring it up to you," Jimin admits.

"But I told you about him before,"

"Yeah, I know. But honestly, we haven't spoken in a couple weeks and at first it didn't ring a bell," Jimin continues to say.

"Okay... So- why is that suddenly so important?"

"Because-" Jimin suddenly cuts himself off and takes a deep breath. "Because he's seen you with Taehyung,"

"Seen me?"

"Not- fuck sake. Not in that way, Kook," Jimin stumbles over his words, trying to say what he wants without a stutter breaking through. "I've told him about you, so he knows who you are. He told me to look out for you because of the way you are with him. Apparently, Taehyung protected you tonight,"

"So you didn't have a feeling I was here. You knew I was here and you decided to stalk me,"

"It's not stalking. It's me looking out for you," Jimin argues.

"I don't see why you're all so overprotective. I'm getting over my relationship and I'm having fun on the side! Why is that so much to worry about?"

"You seriously don't remember, do you?"

Jeongguk scoffs. "Remember what? You stalking me? You know what? Fuck this. I'm walking home," he says as he gets back out of the car, slamming the door shut as he begins to storm off.

"Fuck sake, Kook," Jimin calls out from the window. "Get in the fucking car,"

"Oh fuck you!" Jeongguk argues back.

Jimin continues to follow Jeongguk down the streets, only speeding up when the younger decides to break out into a sprint. With the pair being just as stubborn as each other, Jimin follows Jeongguk, going through backstreets and past shady areas of Seoul until they're back at Jeongguk's apartment building.

Jeongguk completely ignores Jimin and goes straight to the elevator, groaning when Jimin tries to follow him.

"Why can't you just leave me alone?!" Jeongguk screams at him as he charges into the elevator, practically slamming the button to force the doors closed. Except- it's not fast enough and Jimin is already inside just as the doors shake and rattle until they're shut, enclosing the friends inside.

"Do you remember?" Jimin persists.

"Remember what?"

"Jesus Christ," Jimin groans. "I didn't want you to ever find out, but I didn't expect you to be so obsessed with someone else so quickly and it's a one-sided thing, Kook, I don't get how you don't see that and fuck-"
