"Are you going to visit him?" Hoseok asks. It's fairly quiet in the club, and Taehyung hasn't got any booked customers, so he decided to spend the night with Hoseok until he goes up on stage.
"It's not my place," Taehyung says. "We're strangers, hyung. It should stay that way,"
"Me and you both know that's not true,"
"It was never meant to go as far as sex. I feel like it's my responsibility to put an end to this now before it gets any worse. I've already caused enough damage as it is,"
"You know that wasn't your fault," Hoseok says. "Besides, we know that he didn't attempt anything,"
"Well, your friend didn't seem to think so. They probably all hate me," Taehyung groans. "He was emotionally torn, Hoseok. I should have seen that and never have brought him in. Even after the first time, I kept letting him come back in. I started seeing who he was and he began to picture his idea in his head and by then he was attached,"
"Again, not your fault," Hoseok soothes. "It's like- you refuse to let yourself like anyone ever,"
"Love is a dangerous game, Hoseok. I don't plan to participate,"
"Not even for the wide-eyed boy who brings you roses?"
Taehyung falls silent and looks away. He doesn't know what he feels. He's confused, hurt and angry. Angry at himself for not seeing just how vulnerable Jeongguk really was, confused as to what he even feels, and hurt with thoughts of Chul and how he promised himself he'd never do it again. Would never put himself through that emotional damage all over again.
"I'm not saying you have to jump into a relationship," Hoseok says. "But I am saying that you should think about what you want. Don't put Chul's abuse on Jeongguk's name,"
