"Start from when you first met him," Jimin says with a wave of his hand. They'd since arrived at the cafe that Jimin has been raving about for weeks, sitting beside the window in vintage looking chairs, nursing hot mugs of coffee whilst they wait for their food.

"I saw him on stage first," Jeongguk says.

"No, I just wanna hear about when you met him,"

"Oh, okay. Right, so, I was sitting in the corner and considering just leaving, right?" Jeongguk begins, watching Jimin nod eagerly.

"And I went to get up but I was pushed back down and the dancer I had seen from the stage just straddled me and asked me what was wrong. I can't remember exactly what he said, but he ended up dragging me into this room and the whole place is purple and red and it's so cool looking. But anyway- he sat me down on this sofa and asked me what made me so upset. I started talking about the break-up and he listened. He was so handsome, Chim. Like, fuck. I'd do anything he told me to. And his lips, Chim. He kissed me like he really meant it. But then he was just like-" Jeongguk then stands and puts a finger to Jimin's lips, dramatically re-enacting his experience with Taehyung.

"Shh, don't talk. Just feel," he says before he sits back down again. "And then he fucked my brains out,"

"Wow,"

"Wow, indeed," Jeongguk nods as their food arrives.

"So, did you like, talk to him after, or?" Jimin asks, leaning back as the waitress sets his plate down in front of him.

"I wanted to,"

"But you didn't," Jimin finishes. Jeongguk just shakes his head. "So what's he like? Or have you only fucked him?" The elder teases.

"We talk sometimes, I guess. But it's more of a 'we share a couple sentences and then fuck'. But he seems to just get me, Chim. Before he was like 'you're so far away' and he just seemed to understand how I get, y'know? When I think too much?"

"Yeah, I know," the elder supplies.

"We talked yesterday," Jeongguk says. "I said I didn't want anything else, just to talk. I asked him to lunch but he said no. But- he's so- good. Told me I need to heal and that I had to let it happen. I don't know, Chim, I- I don't know. I feel warm. He makes me forget,"

Forget.

Except, there's a time limit with forgetting. You will only 'forget' so much before it all comes back and you remember everything you were trying to run from. It's a constant battle for most, and unfortunately, Jeongguk has slipped straight into it, wallet and all.
