A Love from the Past

Chapter 2

eXo.S. POV (the writer)

'After two years, I met her again... and she's here in front of me, begging for forgiveness:'sorry'for all the things that I'd cause you, sorry for leaving you, sorry for breaking your heart,...'

Haissh! I'm so tired of writing the finale chapter of my story. At last I finished it. I put down the pen I was holding, then closed the book. I've finished another story again; this is the fifth story I've done. I'm happy that I finished it and was able to pass it on time to BlackCinema Entertainment; it's a film industry where I was working, but I can't help but feel sad also because, among all the stories I wrote, this one is different. It's different in the way that it is very close to my heart. 

My tummy growled. I forgot I hadn't eaten my lunch yet. I glanced at my watch, and it's already 4 in the afternoon! That's why my stomach rumbles. I leave my room and head to the kitchen, but to my surprise, I stop in the sala. My mouth fell open and my eyes went wide because there's two guys who're cuddling each other. D.O. is in front of Kai. "Give it to me! D.O. uttered..the fudge!! "What are you both doing?" I asked them disgustedly. 

Upon hearing my voice, they sit straight, "huh! Auh! Nothing!" D.O embarrassedly utters, "haha! Don't give us that look. S. Kyungsoo here wants to get the remote from me; I'm watching SpongeBob, eh, and he wants to watch others, so he tried to get the remote from me.Kai explained to me,auh okay," I said while shrugging my shoulders. Then I headed to the kitchen. "Hyung! It's true!" D.O exclaimed. Haha, they looked guilty.

It was Saturday, and I'm here at BlackCinema Entertainment to pass my story to them so that they can make it into a film or a movie. Before I passed my story to them, I read it first, and I'm happy and proud of my story. All of my stories are in national book stores, and one time, one of the staff members or writers of BlackCinema Entertainment saw my book; she said that she's interested in the book and bought it. 

After reading the story, she presented it to the director and was glad that they loved it, so they emailed me, asking me permission if they could make it into a film or movie. I agreed with them, and they set a time to meet me in person so that we could talk about it professionally. 'Since you came' is the title of my story, and it was a very successful movie. After that, lots of opportunities came to me and brought me success as a poet and a writer...

"S. Glad you're here!" Katrina approached me happily. I then stood up to greet her. "Hi Kat!" I said, then we hugged each other. She is the reason why I am a success. She's the one who bought my book 'Since You Came' in the national book store and presented it as a film; she's the head writer of this entertainment... Katrina is beautiful and smart. I know that she has a crush on me, but friendship is all I can offer. Besides, I like her as my little sister, that's all.Hmm, so are you ready to present your new book to the staff and to the directors?" she asked while wiggling her eyebrows playfully. "Ahm.. yeah.. hope that they like it," I said and heaved a sigh. "They'll surely love it! Let's go!" She exclaimed enthusiastically. "Let's go!" I uttered..then we headed to the room where I will be presenting my new book.

"And that's the story of A Love from the Past." I just finished presenting my new book to them. I was hoping that they liked it. I don't know what their opinion is because they're all in poker face, while Katrina on the other side is showing her two thumbs up to me. "So that's it?" Mr. Laurel,the head director, asked me poker-faced, "Auhm, yes, sir." I said nervously and bowed down my head, haissh! "So that's it! Call the cast now because we will take our first shoot tomorrow," the head director said. Wait, what? I instantly pulled my head up upon hearing that.

 "Congratulations, Mr. Oh, your story is amazing; we were not wrong in choosing you as a writer; you always meet more than my expectations!" Mr. Laurel offered his hands, and I willingly accepted and shook our hands. "Congratulations! Mr. Oh!" All of the people in the room congratulated me. "Thank you!" I happily thanked them. "I told you they will surely love it!, Congrats S." "Thanks Kat!" Then I shrugged her hair.Aish! My hair!.."then she glared at me.Let's go, let's have a lunch! I said to her, then her eyes twinkled. "This girl! "Is it a date?" She hopingly asked me.Yes, a friendly date." I said to make things clear, emphasizing the word friendly. . "Aish. friend zone e again."She said with her shoulders down,Cheer up, it's my treat!" I uttered, "Whatever!" She replied nonchalantly.

After our lunched, instead of heading straight to Exo's house, I stopped and parked my car at the parking lot of Luneta's park. I got out of my car and walked slowly, lots of children and families are here to have fun and to bond with eachother;, staring at them makes me calm..I miss my family in Korea..hai I heaved a sigh. 'tingtong,tingtong' the sound of the bell of the sorbetes, it's an ice cream. Some people called it a dirty ice cream, but it's not; it's actually delicious. "Manong!.. how much?" I asked the guy who's older than me. Limang peso, iho!" He said.

 Actually, I understand Tagalog a little bit. Okay, I'll get one." Then I got my pocket and handed him a 500 PHP peso peso bill. "Ah it's only five pesos, not 500 pesos." He said, "No! Actually, I understand po. I just don't have a coin." Then I scratched the back of my head. "It's okay, iho! Don't worry, that's for free!" He said while smiling. Wow, Filipinos are generous and always stay happy and smiling. I know he's tired of selling his ice cream, not to mention it's very hot here! 

 "No manong! Just take this, keep the change!" I insisted. Naku iho! I can't accept that! Wait! Mga bata! Hali' kayo dito!" (Oh son! I can't accept that! Wait! Kids! Come here! ) , he rung his bell three times, and the kids around 10 approached us, specifically in the ice cream cart. "One for you! One for you!" Then after that, the kids have their own ice cream. They have a smile on their faces. "Mga bata, magpasalamat kayo kay kuyang pogi." (Kids! Say thank you to your handsome brother here) Manong instructed them, then they all faced me, "Salamat po!!","Thank you po!"..they all said "Walang anuman!. welcome!" I labeled my height compared to them and uttered happily...then they left, with a smile on their faces. 

"Iho! I'll go now! Thank you!" Manong uttered, "You're welcome, sir!" Then I saluted him..then he went while keeping on ringing his bell then I tasted his ice cream chocolate, ube, and cheese flavored.. I sat on the bench park while eating my ice cream. I'm just staring at random people that's roaming around here, like kids, families, lovers, and other people laughing, chatting, scrolling their phones, running, and doing whatever activities they like. There's also birds chirping around. 

Then I saw nearby the girl sitting and facing the other side of the park opposite me, so I just saw her back and her blonde hair that was hiding her face. She wears a simple loose orange long sleeve top and black jeans. Then she stood up. I don't know, but I stood up too, following her. I accidentally fell down the ice cream I was holding, but I don't care at all; all I cared about now was the girl who caught my attention. She walked fast, headed to her car, and went away.

 There's a feeling in me that I want to follow and confront her, but I hold myself back. And why would I do that? I don't even know her! S.! You are imagining things again. This is the same feeling I was feeling when I saw the girl in Luhan's birthday..in EXO bar..but that thought stopped when my phone rang..*it's the love shot** that's my ringtone..anyways I picked up my phone and answered it "hello" I spoke "yeah! I'm just here at the Luneta Park"...."okay I'll go now."...."bye" then I hung up the phone...it was Xiumin, asking where I am..

I was driving my car when my phone rung, I connected it with my wireless ear phone "hello, kat?" I asked Katrina, I wonder why she called me .."hi S. I just want to say thank you, for our lunched date earlier.."she said enthusiastically "it's okay Kat." I answered her "oh, I remembered! S., Mr. Laurel want you to know that your story and the movie will be out 6 months from now, that's their estimated time to finally produced the movie, since there's a lot of things to consider" she said in the other line "auh.. okay" I uttered...I don't care if how many months or years they will make the movie,haha..."I'll hang up it now, I'm driving" I used my bored tone.."what? Wait"...tot tot tot* I hang up the phone... Sometimes she's so persistent; that's why I get annoyed, but I love her as a friend. Sometimes when she talks about her feelings with me, I'll find a way to divert the conversation so that I can't hurt her again. I ignored her feelings so many times, and I don't want to make things hard for us. Besides, I'm not ready to commit to a relationship again.
