CHAPTER 1: THE VENDOR

Cassidy Keyleigh's Point of View

"Noooonnnaa!"

"Noonnaaa!" he shouted again when he saw me I wasn't moving from my bed.

That yelling voice is none other than my little brother Crystan. He was always like that in the morning. Shouting at me as if he was older than me. Heck! Walong taon ang agwat namin for pete's sake.

"Stop shouting! Will you?" Iritadong sumbat ko. What does he want? Umagang umaga nambubulabog.

The heck ! Umagang umaga nang aasar na naman siya. He knew exactly how to tease me. No doubt he's really my brother.

"GOOD MORNING LOLO! LOLA!" I cried, shouting out loud.

"Good morning din apo."

Lolo asked, sitting on the table chair while reading a newspaper.

"Si Crystan po kase ang ingay" I complained as I glared at my brother, gritting my teeth.

I can't help but smile widened. You know, lolo wasn't like that before. Ni ayaw niya nga kaming lumabas ni Crystan e baka daw may mangyaring masama saamin.

He nod.

"Omo! Thank you po." I screamed as I stood up and hugged Grandpa.

"How about me Granny?" My brother inquired.

"You can't go out Breyleigh. You're too young to go out. It's dangerous out there." Ani lolo.

"But I want to go to mall Granny." he insisted, pouting his lips.

"Hindi ka daw pwedeng lumabas." I grinned, my eyebrows waggled.

"What? But grandpa. I really want to go to mall." he panted like a child.

I secretly grinned when Grandpa ignored him.

"Keyleigh?" Grandma called.

"Po?"
