"This is impossible! I should just do an Elsa and hide," I slumped my shoulders, and hung my head down with a frown.

"No. Nothing is impossible, otherwise we wouldn't know what possible is," Jasper drawled, making me and Emmett frown in confusion.

"That makes no sense dude," Emmett tilted his head before blinking and shaking his head again.

"It kinda does. I think," I grinned, moving to sit with my back to the log.

"You have the hang of it. We already know Jacob calms you down and that your mom triggers it. We just need to control doing it on demand," Edward sat beside me, pulling me into his side.

"Why? Why do I need to do this? Why can't I learn to hide it? I don't like being different. I want to be normal like you guys," I frowned, but snuggled into his side, getting comfortable.

Emmett's booming laugh made me glare at him and Edward to glare too.

"Because it might come in handy. Being different is good," Edward spoke with certainty, it made me feel better at least.

"Aww. That's cute, my sister is getting along with my boyfriend," Bella smiled, walking out of the Cullen house.

"Finally, you're back!" I scrambled to my feet to run and give Bella a hug, tripping over my own feet in the process.

"I see the clumsy gene runs in the family," Emmett smirked.

"Shut up you fat oaf," I smiled, as he faked a hurt expression.

*No-ones P.O.V*

Arielle sat on the floor all night practicing her powers. All she wanted to do was make the Cullens proud, since she could never make her mother proud. Her fingertips were pink, tingling and warm, but Arielle was too tired and concentrated to notice. She had learnt how to trigger it on cue, and calm it down, but what she hated was how long and difficult it was took to gain control.

She sighed before standing and walking into the bathroom to shower before anyone else woke up. The cold water was cooling to her mildly burnt fingertips, and stung as she massaged the shampoo into her hair.

Now changed into some shorts and a tank top, Arielle wandered out the bathroom and to the stairs back up to her room. Arielle stopped in her tracks when she heard a thump from Bella's room.
She knocked with her knuckle, before quickly speaking.

"Bella? You good?" Arielle contemplated going in to check in her, but was stopped short by Bella's quick response.

"Yeah, go back to bed," Bella glanced at Edward who was pressed against the wall.

"Okay," Arielle walked up to bed while Bella and Edward watched each other, waiting for the sliding of the stairs before speaking in a hushed tone.

"What was she doing?" Bella asked Edward, whispering as he approached her bed.

"Showering. Before then practicing her powers. I could hear the electricity and her most likely burning herself," Edward shook his head, a small smile playing on his face.

"You love her don't you?" Bella smiled, scooching over so Edward could sit down.

"She reminds me of my mother. She is the sister I've always wanted," Edward smiled fondly.

"Is she asleep?" Bella asked, nodding to the ceiling.

Edward shook his head, before placing a quick kiss to her head.

"I'll try and get Jasper to make her calm. She'll fall asleep if she's calm. I don't think she took her pills, otherwise she'd be asleep," Edward frowned, straightening up.

"I'll need to the details for the baseball game tomorrow," Bella laid down, setting her head on the pillow and cuddling her duvet.

"Just get to sleep," Edward chuckled before leaving out the window to get Jasper, who wasn't far.

"I already heard. I can feel her anxiety from here," Jasper sighed, glancing to the house. "Carlisle said me manipulating her emotions might mess up her medication. I don't want to leave her like this," Jasper could feel the venom tears brimming in his eyes, but none would fall.

Edward gave him a small smile, before bringing him in for a hug.
Jasper and Edward were close the Arielle, and it pained them to know that nothing other than her pills would help her, yet she didn't take them. Edward knew why she didn't take them, and it hurt him that he pushed her so hard that she was determined to learn tonight. She needed a strong emotion or feeling to trigger her powers, and she knew just how to get one. Anxiety. And because of her anxiety, she automatically thought to her mother, which made it ten times harder.

They just had to let her figure it out on her own and learn as she went along, which was one of the hardest things they had ever done; to just let her suffer with the unknowing and struggle.

Yet it had to be done
