I wake up a few hours later to someone gently nudging him.
"Krestal, i-is that you. I had a terrible dream. Something happened to my eyes and Notch stabbed me. Ridiculous ri-WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!!" I yell backing away from the grey skinned man in front of me.
"Terribly sorry, sir. It's just, we thought you were dead. Your heart wasn't beating. Hey...your eyes are just like ours," the man apologizes, helping me to my feet. I look more closely at the man, finally noticing his brilliant blue, glowing eyes.
"Who-who are you?" I ask again, very curious now.
"Oh yes, I did forget to introduce myself, didn't I? I am King Walker, king of the Walker race. You've probably never heard of us," King Walker announces regally.
"Can't say I have. Why are you down here anyway?" I confirm, shaking the Walkers hand.
"We were banished here by that devil, Notch. We once lived up there, in the tundras. Our castles were the greatest constructed, reaching high into the sky. Riches of the earth poured from our mines. You can see why Notch was jealous. He sent us here and stole our land and riches. Just as he has done to you, yes?" King Walker explains angrily, grimacing at the bedrock ceiling.
"No, actually he's my brother. He didn't mean to do this to me. H-He was just scared and confused, I'm sure," I answer, trying to make myself believe it.
"I surely hope so, for your sake. Anyway, you can come back with me. We always have room," King Walker offers, jumping off the ledge of the fortress, his cape billowing behind him. I follow hesitantly, a trail of smoke like particles leaving a trail behind me.
"You wouldn't happen to know where we are? Surly we teleported to some new dimension," I ask, looking around at the lava oceans and red haze of my surroundings.
"This, my friend, is your doing, I believe. This place turned into a hell of sorts after you came crashing back to earth. No wonder you heart stopped, that fall would have killed one of my Walkers. There must be strong magic in you," King Walker answers, nodding to an odd flying, squid-like creature.
"What in the hell is that!!!" I scream at top of my lungs, running for my life in the opposite direction. The creature glides calmly down to us, landing with its tentacles spread wide. It makes an odd gasping noise as I run away.
"I think it's laughing at you, sir," King Walker chuckles. a dry, hollow sound.
"Yllis enirboreH, uoy detaerc em. Yhw dluow I truh uoy?" The creature screeches, its tentacles shaking violently with laughter.
"Hmm, I've never heard anything besides us talk down here," King Walker pounders, stroking the creatures side, "Wonder what it's saying?"
"It said I created it. I've never made creatures before. That was always Notch's specialty..." I trail off, approaching the pale creature carefully. It lets out a loud purr as I lay my hand upon its face.
"Isn't it odd, sir? The markings on its face, they almost look like tears," King Walker notices, stroking the creatures markings curiously.
"That is odd. I don't want my creature to be sad. Why is it sad? Is it because of the way I made it!?" I yell, the red haze darkening all around us.
"I don't know, sir. You seem normal to me. What are you going to name it? If it is a new species, it needs a name," King Walker suggests, trying to brighten my mood.
"It gasps when it laughs...and talks backwards. Hmm? I suppose Ghast would fit, don't you think?" I ask, pretending I didn't just change the color of the haze around us.
