"Now I have no choice, but to remain a ghost! I-Is that what I wanted most, Notch!? Is this what I was meant to become!?" I scream at the air. I'm answered by silence. I pick up Notch's body, heading for the large city to the north. As I walk, I think of all the humans who have feared and hated me for no reason. And as I think, my rage grows. A police officer at the city entrance stops me.

"Hey buddy, what are you doing here? Does your friend need-oh god no! It can't be you! Why now!" The officer grunts, jumping into his mine cart.

"Now your god is dead! And I'm here to fill this world with fear!! Tell your citizens that they pay for what they did to me in blood!!" I yell after the cop as he speeds away. I walk into the central square and drop Notch's body onto the stone. I float above the tree line, making a flash of lightning to get everyone's attention.

"Holy shit. Is that Herobrine?" Someone says near by.

"Notch has been removed! You answer to me now!" I roar, lightning striking the ground next to me. The Wither bursts out of the ground, swiveling its three heads to a women cowering in a corner.

"Thank you, Master Herobrine, for all the fresh meat. It shall fill our stomach for many moons," The Wither screeches in unison, floating over to the women. Her eyes dart around the square until she finally locks her gaze on me.

"Herobrine! Please tell me you remember me! Don't say I've lost you forever! I need to know your not completely gone!" She screams, backing further into her corner. A name flashes through my memory.

"Krestal?" I say, floating down to my wife.

"Yes! Yes, Herobrine! It's me, please come back to m-" the Wither's eyes glow brighter as it eats away Krestal's aura. I watch in horror as the flesh falls off her bones. All that remains of my wife is a soot black skeleton, hell bent on finding blood.

"No!! Damn you, Notch! You caused this! you!" I scream, teleporting back to the cave we'd hidden the Nether portal in. I look back to see fires lighting up the night as the city burns to ground.

"So? How'd it go?" A blaze coughs, sticking its head through the swirling, purple vortex.

"He's dead, but we haven't won yet. For now, I'm going to go play with my niece," I answer following the blaze back to our castle.

I love my niece, I truly do. She always seemed...different from both my brothers. She loved TnT and destruction like me, she always saw the best in me. It was like she was the best aspects of all three of us. Strong and brave like her father, Steve. Fair and determined, like Notch. And smart and quiet, like me. But there was also something else in her, something much darker. She had the evil of all three of us as well. No one else, but me could see it. I guess that's why I hung out with her so much. To make her forget, but every now and then her aura gave away her real feelings. Her aura would be happy and bright one second, then full of anger and self hatred the next.

"Dad? Daddy, is that you? Can you let me out please?" Zyanya asks, grabbing the cage bars. I take a breath, worried of what she might think. I also smile, because I've missed her and it's been so long since I've seen a family member on good terms. Bad choice. Zyanya runs to the back of her cell, terror in her eyes. It's Notch all over again.

"Uncle Herobrine! I thought you died!" She yells, hugging herself.

"Finally! Someone recognizes me! W-Would you like to come out of the cell?" I ask, putting a hand through the bars.

"Not with you! Not it a million years!" Zyanya hisses, smacking my hand away. My anger gets the best of me again.

"Fine! You can sit in there for all I care," I teleport back to my throne room. Clayton looks up from his game.

"Is your niece doing well? She almost ripped a pigmans head off when we tried to get her in there. A tough one, that one," he jokes, picking up his spear.

"Ah, stubborn too, just like her dad. She'll come around, I hope," I answer, rubbing my temples gently.

"Maybe me and her could be friends. You said she likes video games," Clayton says, "Tell me when she comes out, k? I gotta go guard the gates! See you in a few hours." I wave farewell to my Walker friend. He's the same age as Zyanya, but looks like he could be 13. Walkers must age fast, but die slowly.

Weeks pass and Zyanya is still in her cell. Every few days the castle is filled with the sound of distant, crazed laughter or heart breaking sobbing. Enough is enough. I teleport to the dungeon, knocking lightly on the bars to wake Zyanya.

"Would you like to come out now?" I ask softly. Zyanya nods slowly, her eyes bloodshot. She won't last long unless I do something to help her. It may change her, but she'll live.

"How much are you willing to give up?" I ask, happy that she'll finally accept what's happening.

"Anything," she croaks, her eyes darting around crazily. I reach out and put a hand in her head. Her cyan shirt gets covered by a black and white hoodie. Her pants turn jet black and her shoes turn white with green centers. A diamond sword materializes in her hand. A crazed laugh erupts from her throat. Doing this took a part of me and gave it to her. Zyanya's eyes are closed, I want to make sure what I think happened didn't.

"Z-Zyanya, could you open your eyes for me, please?" I ask, making the bars disappear.

"Anything for the master," she answers with a wry smile. A strangled gasps escapes my mouth. The iris of her eyes, which were once brown, glow red.

"Oh, Zyanya, I'm so sorry. I really am no better than Notch, am I?" I sigh, hugging her. She doesn't push me away, but she doesn't hug me back either.

"Master, this is very...improper. Shouldn't we get back to your throne room?" Zyanya asks, sheathing her sword.

"Yes we should. I have an idea I think you'll love," I answer, releasing her.

"Ohh! Are we gonna destroy stuff? I think I still have some TnT left," Zyanya squeals, happily digging through her inventory.

"No. We're going to have you meet two of my best friends and then we're going to make you a cousin," I answer, teleporting us back to my throne room.

"I like teleporting! Can I do that, Uncle Herobrine?" Zyanya asks, looking around the large room.

"No, I don't think-" She disappears in a plume of black smoke. A second later she reappears on top of my throne.

"Oh my gosh! This is so fun!" Zyanya yells, teleporting behind me.

"Ok, I guess you can teleport. Why don't you stop for a minute so we can go see those friends I was telling you about?" I ask, directing Zyanya to the large double doors.

Hey guys, hope you enjoyed. By the way, in case you're confused about the chapter name. Here's an answer. Zyanya is translated into forever and always from a language that the Aztecs used to use. You'll see why her name is this at a later date. 😆
