I wake up from another nightmare about Herobrine. It had been three years since I'd corrupted my beloved brother, but it felt like it was yesterday.
"I think its finally time..." I moan to myself, getting up. I change into my vest, careful not to warp the golden buttons. A bat flies into the room, squeaking happily.
"Hello, Notch! Have a nice dream?" The bat asks, grabbing onto a perch hanging from the ceiling.
"No, afraid not, Dylan. I had another nightmare," I answer the bat, scratching him behind the ear.
"Was it about Herobrine again? What happened this time?" Dylan squeaks, crawling along the ceiling after me as I leave the bedroom.
"I dreamed that he stole someone, a little girl. He changed her, turned her evil. When I was looking for her he came up behind me and..." I trail off, placing a black fedora on my head.
"Your brother wouldn't do that. It's not his style. He wants revenge, he doesn't want you dead, yet," Dylan reassures, waving a claw at a pig as it walks by.
"Hi Dylan!" It squeals.
"Hi Jeffery!" Dylan greets back.
I pat the pig as it walks past me, heading for a pen full of other pigs.
"Do you bring any news about my brother. Does he plan on attacking me today?" I ask, climbing a ladder to the surface. I lift up a trap door, checking that no one was around.
"I couldn't get into the Nether. They closed the portal. Though I doubt he's gonna do anything, last time I went he was just sitting in a room by himself. It sounded like he was cry-" Dylan is cut off by a loud hush, "What is it this time?"
"A zombie and an Enderman," I whisper, pointing out the black and green shapes.
"I thought zombies burn in the day light. How come this one isn't?" Dylan questions, landing on the brim of my hat.
"It's got a helmet on. It protects them from the sun," I explain, a bow materializing in my hand. I aim for the zombies head, loading an arrow onto the bow string. A flash of blue and white runs out from behind the Enderman.
"Stop!! Geez Notch! You'd think you'd recognize your only mob ambassador!" A boy yells, asking the Enderman something. It nods and grabs the zombie and the boy's shoulder, teleporting to the entrance of my lair.
"Oh, Slamacow, its you. What brings you to my home?" I ask, shaking everyone's hands, "And what are your names?"
"I am Bart Ender. I work at the mob saloon," Bart introduces himself, bowing.
"Oh, I see a play on words," I chuckle.
"I am afraid I don't understand, sir," Bart says, adjusting the tie on his tuxedo.
"You're a bar tender and your name is Bart Ender. If you move the 'T' in tender-I'll explain it later," I stop myself, turning to the zombie.
"I'm...Dave. Me and...Bart have been...friends since...we were kids," Dave groans, awkwardly hugging Bart.
"Um...ok then. Anyway! Slamacow, why did you come here? Your magic lessons aren't for another week," I ask, ignoring the two mobs as Bart forces Dave off of him.
"Eddy and I found a prophecy in some pretty old books. We think it's about you and Herobrine. But, here's the weird thing, it also mentions someone who's more powerful than both of you combined! We wanted you to look at it, but every time we tried to scan it into the computer it'd crash. There's some powerful magic on it," Slamacow explains franticly.
