Chapter 2

I wake up the next morning and slowly get out of bed. I check my phone to see if I have any messages. I don't. I leave my room and go downstairs to find my parents in the kitchen making breakfast. My dad comes over to give me a hug. "Morning sweetheart. I hope you slept well".  I smile and say. "Yeah it wasn't to bad".  "Good. Moms making some scrambled eggs, home fries and a lot of bacon. You hungry?"  I smile and say. "Always". The 3 of us sit and eat a big breakfast. Then I tell my parents I'm leaving in a little while to go to Boston to see a friend. It's only Tuesday but I have nothing going on so why not go surprise my girlfriend?  "You've gone to Boston a lot recently. What do you have going on there?"   "What do you mean mom?"  "I mean. Why do you keep going to Boston?"  "Well mom. I've been seeing someone in Boston. I saw her when I went on a college tour months ago and we have been seeing each other ever since".  "Emma that's wonderful. Maybe we can come with you and meet her".   "No mom. Please no. Look. I'm sorry it's complicated. She's a great girl and I was over 18 when we started dating. She's a little older than me. She's 21 and she's very shy about being gay. She hasn't come out to her parents yet. So if you don't mind please just wait a little longer to meet her".  "Of course dear. When she's ready you can bring her here".  "Thanks dad". My mom lets out a little huff. I don't know why she's been such a bitch lately. She knew who and what I was when she adopted me why is she being bitchy. The rest of breakfast was mostly quiet. I ate everything on my plate. My mom may be being a bitch right now but she can cook a damn good breakfast. When I'm done I help clean up the table then I go take a shower and pack some clothes. Once everything is all set I say goodbye to my parents then head out to Boston. It takes a few hours but I finally get to my girlfriends apartment. I knock on the door and wait. When the door opens and she sees it me she leaps into my arms and passionately kisses me. "Oh Emma my love. I've missed you so much. Why didn't you tell me you were coming here earlier?"  We kiss again and when I pull back I say. "I wanted to surprise you baby".  "Well you definitely did. Come on in".  I pick up my bag and go into the apartment. I put my bag in the bedroom and that's when I'm attacked by a tall hot redhead as she the pushes me onto the bed and she climbs on top of me. She kisses my lips, my cheek and moves down to suck on my neck. "Oh baby you don't waste any time. I love that". She moves her head back to look at me. She gives me a smile and goes back to my neck. She unbuttons my shirt and puts her hand under my sports bra and runs her fingers over my nipples. "Hmmm. Stop teasing me babe". She looks up at me and lets out a laugh. "Oh I'm the one teasing you?"  I nod. "I think it's you that's teasing me with this big hard cock poking me through your jeans".  "Well I can't help it. You just do these things to me". We smile and kiss then we start undressing each other. We made love, took a nap then made love again. Now we are holding each other and trying to get our breathing back to normal. She's got her head on my chest. I look down and see beautiful red hair and I lean in and kiss the back of her head. We're so comfortable that we fall asleep again. The next thing I know I wake up to a voice shouting. "Zelena. Emma. What the hell is going on here?"  My girlfriend and I are startled and we leap up to a sitting position. "Regina. What are you doing here?"  I ask. "I'm here to visit my sister Zelena. What are you doing here in bed with her?"  I'm at a loss for words at the moment. I look at my girlfriend and say. "Ah Zelena. You wanna answer that". She looks at me and then we both look at Regina. "So this is who you've been seeing Emma? My sister?"  "Regina I'm sorry".  "I don't care Emma". She looks Zelena again and just walks away. Zelena leaps up and shouts. "Regina wait". She puts on her robe and quickly goes after Regina. I get up and get dressed and leave the bedroom. I find the sisters shouting at each other in the living room.

R. "How could you do this to me Zelena? You knew how I felt about Emma. What kind of sister are you?" 
Z.  "Regina I'm so sorry. I wasn't expecting this to happen. Emma and I ran into each other 6 months ago and it just happened. I swear. And until last week you haven't brought up how you felt about Emma in years. I thought you were over it".
R.  "And when I did mention it to you again last week you should have told me so I didn't make a fool out of myself when I actually told Emma".
Z.  "I'm sorry. I was afraid to tell you. I haven't told anyone I'm gay yet. If it gets back to mother she would totally freak out".
R.  "I can't believe this. I'm leaving".
Z.  "Regina don't go. Please stay we can work this out".
R.  "Not right now. I just can't".
She gives Zelena and I the death look and walks out of the apartment. Zelena turns to look at me and she's crying so I take her in my arms. "Emma what have I done to my sister?"  "She just needs time. She'll be ok sweetheart".  I walk us over and we sit on the couch. "I hope so Emma. I've never seen her look at me like that before. She was so hurt and I did that to her".  She put her head on my shoulder and continued to cry. I only spent the next 2 days in Boston with Zelena before I had to return home for my graduation. Zelena and I really didn't do much while I was there. She's really upset about this whole thing with Regina and actually so am I.  I hope I haven't ruined my friendship with her. When I got back into Storybrooke I stopped at the Mills residence. When I rang the door bell it was Regina that opened the door. She took one look at me and quickly closed the door but I stopped it before it shut all the way. I walked in behind her. "Regina Wait. Please. Can't we talk?"  She turns around and looks me right in the eyes. "Talk about what Emma. Talk about how you and my sister have been fooling around together for months and probably making fun of me the whole time. Please save your breath I don't want to hear it. Please go".  "Regina none of that happened. I swear to you Zelena and I just happened to meet one day when I was in Boston and we kept in talking to each other and then we started dating. I swear neither one of us meant to hurt you. Please if you don't want to talk to me then talk to your sister. She's really upset over this and so am I. You've always been my best friend don't let this ruin that".   "Do you have anything else to say Emma?"  I stood there in silence not sure of what to say. "Thank you for stopping by. Please show yourself out". She says and walks away. "Damn". I say to the empty foyer and leave the Mills home.
When I return to my house my parents are surprised to see me back so soon. I just told them that I came back early to get things ready for graduation.
