Madelyn's POV: I've never seen or heard of this place before today. It looks like a desert wasteland. The sky was a dark orange and purple with black clouds. Bloodshot eyes with red irises were scattered along the walls. Huge jagged teeth blocked the only exits in this area, meaning we were stuck.

"He's blocked everything off." Tom said, "He's gotta be here."

"Looks like you got one right Keifer." Tobias's voice boomed. He appeared out of nowhere, the wind suddenly picking up.

"Where's my dad?" I sternly asked, finally getting some courage.

"Oh sweetheart, you know the truth just as much as I do." Tobias changed the subject, "Blackie isn't your father. He never truly was. So you shouldn't care what's happening to him anymore."

"Where is he Tobias?" Jeff reiterated. Tobias sighed before chuckling.

"Well, since you seem so desperate to know." He said. Using his powers, he crumbled some rock from behind him, revealing a hidden chamber. Blackie was there, held in place by a chain wrapped around his neck like a collar and leash. He was beaten and bloodied. Scratches on his face, his clothes ripped, one eye filled with blood, but his irises were flashing a bright red with anger.

"Dad." I whispered, unable to speak any louder.

"Don't you dare touch her." Blackie said through gritted teeth. Tobias walked up to him.

"I don't think you have a say in that." He said. Suddenly, he stuck his stiletto shaped nails into Blackie's side, digging them in until his fingertips reached the skin. Blackie groaned in agony, trying not to scream, before dropping to his knees in pain.

"Stop it!" I yelled, finding my voice again.

"Unlike Tom there, my nails contain a powerful venom." Tobias explained, "The serum inside is equivalent to 10 stings from a bullet ant. Considering one sting from that ant is painful enough to paralyze the entire affected part, the pain from this venom is immeasurable."

"Tobias, we can end this all now." Tom raised his voice, "Let Blackie go, we walk away, and you never have to see us again."

"I'm afraid that isn't gonna work Tom." Tobias replied, "See, my goal ever since you were born was to exterminate you. Every since Madelyn came into our world, I've wanted her for myself. Today, I finally get it all. I'll kill every single one of you and make her watch before I take her for myself. It's my people's turn to rule this realm. For once, evil must win."

He turned towards Blackie and pulled out a silver gun, which I can only assume contains a silver bullet.

But something came over me. A feeling I've never had. Adrenalin and protectiveness ran through my veins. My heart was racing and my breathing was heavy. My fangs shot out and I could feel my eyes flashing red. With a jarring scream, I lunged at Tobias. I was so forceful that I managed to knock him straight to the ground before trying to strangle him with his cape.

Before I knew it, he used his telekinesis to throw me off of him. I hit the wall with so much force some rock broke off and barely missed my head. The shock hit me worse since I was unable to move for a few seconds. When Eric saw this, he quickly went into werewolf mode and jumped at Tobias, stunning him. Jeff, being only a clairvoyant, had to fist fight him, giving Tobias a swift kick to the face. Fred came from behind and bit his neck, pulling a huge chunk of flesh out, but it healed a few seconds later. Tom sped towards him but Tobias used his nails to scratch him, hurting Tom.

As I sat against the wall, I used my own telekinesis to break the chain around Blackie's neck. Blackie quickly lunged at Tobias, But was scratched again. Everyone went at him at the same time in an attempt to subdue him.
