"So there's nothing she can do." Auntie and I were sitting in the police station for a few hours looking for answers.

"I'm sorry there isn't since she wasn't the one who placed the restraining order. The best option is to show up to court with a defender and to do what the paper asks. If not further actions will be taken."

With that being said my auntie sucked her teeth and we left the police station.

"I can't believe this. This situation should not have escalated." She fumbled with her keys finally getting them into the slot.

"She playing victim after she attacked me drunk. Unbelievable."

"You heard the lady. We'll just have to get a lawyer."

The lady from the station disclaimed information about Asia being placed under critical condition and that's what caused the restraining order to be issued. They noted she was intoxicated but still want to take matters in the situation for continuous of the order or to be dropped.

"Did Vonnie say you can stay a couple of days until we get this all sorted."

"Yeah, she's cool with it."

Auntie and I were at the police station bright and early the next day. She needed a better understanding of the situation.

"Boop I got to head to work. Want me to drop you off to your car?"

I agreed to that and she was already pulling up beside my car.

"I love you. And keep me updated if something new happens."

"I will love you too." She drove off from the parking lot leaving me by my car. I rounded the corner going into the apartment to gather a duffle for the week.

Sent 11:14 am

Me: Okay I'm packing a bag now be there in a little.
Sent 11:15 am

Everything I needed I threw it inside a duffle which turned into two duffles after I was finished. I made sure to grab any and everything needed.

"How's my lady," Jeron called me in mid-pack.

"Well besides packing a duffle because I been restrained to stay 1000 feet from Asia for whooping her drunk ass the other day, I'm fine."

"Hold up what? Who's Asia? And why you didn't call me soon as it happened."

"Some hating ass old friend and I don't know it slipped my mind, everything happened quickly." I sat on my bed looking at my packed duffles rest on the ground.

"Fuck that shit come crash at my place. You should've told me now my girl all out in the streets."

"I'm staying at Von's. Asking you to move in would've been way too soon don't you think."

"Me knowing you safe is all I'm worried about so, of course, I'll offer my crib to you whenever. Where are you?"

"Home just finished packing. About to slide before I'm caught here without consent." I  gathered my belongings.

"Where Von stays I wanna come see you."

"Can we meet up—"

"What did I just say. I wanna pick my girl up not meet you anywhere." I rolled my eyes trying to hide from blushing.

"I'll drop my location when I get there."

"Ight baby." After we hung up I was tussling with my duffles out the door.
