Two Months Later"When are you coming home? We miss you." Auntie whined. I gathered my last belongings leaving out the nursing building for the weekend.
"Between practice work and actual homework, I don't know when to crame in the time. But I miss you all too."
A lot has happened in two months. I ended up moving out of the apartment what's his face and I shared, moving back into Vonnie's place. I haven't heard from him since and that's good. I went to court and they dropped the case, claimed Asia wanted to drop it for personal reasons. My internship started thank gosh. I found myself an apartment with a roommate closer to my program. And I've been happy lately with my decisions.
"Come home next weekend. I'm sure you have some time for family." I huffed not being too sure. I placed my belongings in the back of the car and got in driving home.
"Fine, this weekend. But don't interrupt me when you see me studying."
"Sounds like a plan Boop. See you then."
After pulling up to my place I got out grabbing my belongings before heading to my door.
"I'm home!" I yelled closing the door behind me.
"Be any louder I don't think everyone else in the complex heard you."
"Shut up. Did you go to work today?" I sat at the kitchen table pulling out my laptop.
"Is that even a question. Their thinking about promoting me."
"Seriously? That's great. Are you going to take the offer?" He sat across from me.
"Nah, you know this temporary until I get my shit together."
"I thought this was getting your shit together. For you and Jr."
"Come on Jay, you know I'm doing everything I can for me and little mans."
Vijiour is my roommate in case y'all didn't notice. He saw me searching for a roommate and thought it could work out since his baby moms do live around here and Jr can see both his parents frequently. We split the bills, he sees his son more, and I'm close to my program. Win-win situation.
"When is Jr coming over again, I miss his little chubby cheeks." He sucked his teeth but smirked.
"Chill out on his cheeks." I laughed focusing back on my work. He took that time to play around. Getting up coming around the counter.
"You look good studying." He whispered in my ear, giving me the chills.
"What I tell you about that." I grew hot inside when he didn't move away, only closer.
"I'm tired of the rules. When you gone stop playing?"
"When I feel like I can trust again." He turned the stool around sitting both arms on each side of me.
"We been living together for how long now?" My head held low. It felt like Junior year all over again the way he made me nervous.
"Or you must've thought I was joking when I told you when you were done with that nigga you know where to find me." He rose my head up with his fingers.
"I ain't that nigga ight? You know about my baggage ain't shit else to hide." He stepped back rubbing on his face.
"We moved in together before kicking it. Ain't pressuring you or anything but I know you want me." I bit my bottom lip giving in.
"Fuck that." He didn't hesitate to grab my face sucking on all parts of it. Something we both been waiting on for a long time. He picked me up continuing with our make out moving us to the couch.
