"ON YOUR LEFT Y/N!"Ashley screams into my ear as I receive a punch to the left side of my head.I fell to the ground groaning in pain.I trip the guy up with my legs and smash his face against the floor knocking him out cold.
"Gee thanks for the warning Ashley."I say dryly wiping the blood away from the side of my lip.
In case you're wondering what's happening hi there my name's Y/n.Im a spy.Not only that but one the most elite in my agency.Yes I'm the youngest but that just makes me even better.I hope to be as good as my dad was.Where is he now?He got killed while on mission ten years ago.I want to follow in his footsteps and make him proud.When I first started working for the agency I was definitely underrated because how old I was.The moment I turned 16 I raced to agency to fill out my application form.People thought I was dumb and weak because I was a little girl.How wrong were they.
Who is Ashley you may ask?Well she is what some people call the "woman in the chair".She is pretty good at her job but sometimes she can be a bit unhelpful and don't pay attention when I kinda need her.Believe me she has helped me a lot but she sometimes warns me of things when it's already happened.
We met a few years ago at college.We got along instantly.Since then we were inseparable.We both wanted to be spies but she said she was too lazy to do anything physical so she will leave all that to me.
I ran out the building shooting another guard on my way out."Alright Ashley I'm done here where's my ride?"I say to her through my earpiece."Ooh get you being all badass.I was thinking of sending you a helicopter but instead I thought it would be better to send an old man on a slow moped because money and all that you know?"she said.I rolled my eyes and groaned,"Oh my god Ashley you better be joking."She laughed, "Haha chill Y/n.Dont worry there's a car coming up on your right and taking you back to HQ.Hurry the director is waiting.We have another mission proposal."I raised my eyebrows. "Already I just finished this one give me a break."I mumbled to myself as I got into the black car that just pulled up.
Time skip- At Headquarters
I walked into the office to be instantly met with Ashley at the door.She smiled at me and we both sat down at the big table.Plenty of chairs were still empty.Looks like we are still waiting on a few.
"What do you think it's gonna be this time?"Ashley asked me as she leant into her hand looking bored out of her mind.I just shrugged, "Hmm maybe escorting an old lady across the country again?"Ashley laughed, "That was the most boring and depressing mission ever.All she would talk about is her detiorating health and the fact that she was all alone.I felt so tempted to just smash my earpiece."She groaned."At least you didn't have to accompany her on her numerous bathroom breaks.I never knew someone to need the toilet so much.Literally every 5 minutes.I wouldn't have minded if she hadn't of insisted I need to accompany her to the toilet.I never known someone to take a dump so much."I cringed at the awful memory.
"Enough of the shit talk ladies we have work to do."A familiar voice calls out.We turn our heard towards the direction of the voice to see a smiley Jimin walk into the room."Jimin!"We both exclaim.He grins at us and takes a seat opposite us."Heard you just took out Dave Edwards Y/n.Congrats!"I shrugged at him smiling smugly, "That bastard deserved it.He caused pain and suffering for me and Ashley for ages now."Ashley rolled her eyes and nodded, "Tell me about it.Do you know how many sleepless nights I have had because of that asshole.Im so glad he is now gone.I am not one for fieldwork but I would of happily put myself forward to take him out but Y/n beat me to it the lucky bitch." We all laughed.
One by one the room started to become more full.There was one seat left empty as the director came in with his suit on and his case file full of paperwork for this upcoming mission.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen.As you may have guessed I have a new mission to assign to quite a number of you.This is a big one so I need quite a few people on board with this mission.With that said let's look into our target now shall we?"
The door burst open to reveal a tall man running in panting heavily his hair slightly messy.
"Sorry sir I got caught up in the case files I am close to completing them sir just one more brief to be done and that would be all 300 of them done sir."He said bowing in front of the director.
The director chuckled to himself as he patted the man on the back."Kim Namjoon.Late as always.Nevermind about it lad.I know you are always hardworking never slacking.Take a seat boy we are just about to look at the target.
The director brings up the PowerPoint.I take out my notepad ready to take notes and focus on the screen.
"As you may already know the drug dealing trade is pretty high as of right now.Some dealers have been taking down thanks to the courtesy of Y/n and Yoongi.",We both nod our heads in acknowledgement trying our best not to look smug."But the top of the top is still out there and we think we may have him."
"As of his identity it still remains unknown.We have yet to receive any Intel on his facial features,name or history.However we found a clue which lead us to this warehouse that we believe may be his base.They call him Inferno for his fiery temper he is to be very particular about who he communicates and deals with anyone who so what seems to be a slight threat to his business he tortures and kills.This means he keeps his circle very tight."
Someone raises their hand to speak."Yes Hoseok."The man speaks up, "If you don't mind me asking sir but this seems nearly impossible how are we possibly meant to take him down?"
The director nods," That is why I'm recruiting quite a few of you.You are to work together to gather as much Intel as you can the more people investigating the better.You can't make your faces known meaning one person can't stick around for too long or you will be shot on the spot."
He stands up and paces around the table."For this mission I will be recruiting only the best of the best.I trust that if all of you work together we can take Inferno down once and for all."He reaches the end of the table and me and forward looking all at all of us.
"Y/N.You and Ashley will be the chief co-ordinators.Y/n is in charge of field work and Ashley is in charge of research and chairwork.Now your field workers joining you is Yoongi Jungkook and Jimin.The researchers will be Hoseok,Jin and Taehyung.Any questions?"
Namjoon nervously raises his hand up hesitatantly."Sorry if I sound like I'm questioning your choices but may I be given the chance to work on this case too Sir?I know I haven't been working here as long as everyone else but I would like the chance to prove that I am just as good as everyone else here perhaps even better."
The director looks at me,"What do you think Y/n.Do you think you can afford Namjoon on your team?"
I looked at Ashley who just smiled at me and shrugged.I look at Namjoon.He is pretty intelligent I don't know much about him but I have heard about his hard work and loyalty to this company.
I smiled at him,"Sure.One more couldn't hurt.I am sure you will prove to me that you can be the best.I look forward to working with you."I reach out my hand for him to shake.
He grabs my hand happily and shakes it with so much enthusiasm I think my hand will drop off."Thank you so much Y/n you won't regrets this I promise!"
