Chapter 32

Y/ns P.O.V

It has been a day since the incident. Nothing much has happened since we came home from that. They threw us in our room and just left us. We haven't seen them since. I prefer it that way. The day has been long. Me and Ashley have just been sitting there bored out of our minds. Both of us are silent. I can't stop thinking about everyone under that chandelier.

I could not get any sleep that night. Images of it falling on top of the crowd keeps haunting my brain. I can tell Ashley is traumatised too, her eyes are bloodshot and her eye bags visible. Both of us haven't spoken about it yet. I decided it would be best that we both face it together.

I cleared my throat,"Ashley?".

She was staring into space. I tried again a bit louder this time."ASHLEY!"

She snapped out of her little trance,"Sorry what?"

"How are you doing?",I asked moving a bit closer to her.

"I don't know what to feel. I just can't stop thinking that we could have done something. It is all my fault. It shouldn't have been all those people including my mum under that. Why couldn't I be under that bloody chandelier?"Ashley said holding back tears.

"Don't say that. We are both in this together. It was my fault too. I could have done something to stop him from shooting the chandelier. I-I can't stop thinking about our family under there. All of them they're...gone."I said looking down tears slowly rolling down my cheek.

"Does your brother know?"Ashley asked.

I shook my head. "I have no idea."

I got up from the bed and started anxiously pacing around the room. "Ashley we need to get out of here now. I don't know how much more of this I can take. I need to explain to B/n what happened. Chances are if they did tell him, they didn't tell him the whole truth."

She nodded back at me. "Come on lets go."

We opened the door and peeked down the hallway. No one is there, that's good. We stealthily sneaked down the stairs. I spotted B/ns door and pointed towards it to Ashley. She nodded in response, I turned my head back around to the direction we were heading-

"What are you doing?"

Shit.

I rolled my eyes and turned around to see Jungkook standing at the bottom of the staircase looking slightly amused.

"What do you want?"I asked annoyed.

"Answer my question first."He said. God he weren't taking any bullshit.

"I'm seeing my brother. Is that illegal?"I answered back.

"With Ashley?"He questioned raising an eyebrow.

"Whats the problem with that?"Ashley spoke up.

Jungkook chuckled and started walking over to us. He stopped right in front of me blocking my exit. "Oh, I wouldn't worry too much about him. He already knows about what happened."

I gasped,"What did you tell him?!"

"Oh not much dear just that if you two weren't so selfish then everyone in the party would have survived but no you had to try outsmart us. We just simply had to show you what happens to those who underestimate us."Jungkook said said closing in on us forcing us to start taking some steps back.

"You are monsters! They were innocent!"I yelled at him going to slap his face but he caught my hand in time.

"Be careful baby. Dont think that you're out of the bad books right now cause we are no where near done with you two for your little stunt the other night, so I wouldn't make it worse if I were you. Yes they may have been innocent but you shouldn't have tried to outwit us like that. You are never going to leave this place. Get that into your head, why don't you? Even after all this is over, you still aren't going anywhere. We are guys, we get some... needs that has to be attended to from time to time."He said dangerously close to my face.

I ripped my hand away from his grip.

"Just let me speak to my brother please."I said silently looking down.

"Fine but Ashley stays here."

Ashleys eyes widened.

"Um no Im going with her."She said grabbing hold of my arm.

"You don't have any need to speak to him, he's not your brother."Jungkooks eyes narrowed.

"Im not staying out here with you by myself no way."Ashley shook her head.

Jungkook rolled his eyes, "Oh my God you both are so annoying. Fine just fucking go. You got five minutes no longer now get out of my sight the both of you."

We both scurried away down to B/ns room.

I walked in first with Ashley following. B/n was laying on his bed just staring at the ceiling mindlessly. He lifted his head up to see who entered the room. His face lit up when he saw me. He got up from the bed and ran over to engulf me in a hug.

"Thank god you're okay Y/n. I was so worried about you."B/n said.

"Im fine I got a few cuts and bruises but I will live."I answered.

"So I'm guessing they told you...?"I awkwardly asked.

"About what happened at the party? Yeah I know. But Y/n listen and you too Ashley, please don't blame yourselves for it. Its not any of your fault. You were trying to be free. They are menaces, they will kill at nothing."B/n explained breaking the hug and looking straight into my eyes.

"You don't understand B/n. Namjoon... he ... he forced me to watch. He got hold of me... I should have fought back but I was too weak....and he made me watch as he shot down the chandelier... I cant stop thinking about it. All those people. The screams. People we knew and loved were in there B/n and now they're all dead cause of my stupidity."I broke down.

"If they knew the situation then they will understand."

"I started all of this to make Dad proud. I vowed I will protect people from the bad guys and look at me now. What a disgrace I turned out to be. What on earth would he think of me now?"

"Y/n stop look at me. You are not a disgrace. You never were and you never will be. You are strong remember? There was a reason why you were Dads favourite child. You are just caught in a sticky situation but you will get out of it . We all will okay? Together. I know we can't see each other much here but you have Ashley. You two are unstoppable, you both have shown me that. Dont let this bring you down please. This is what they want. They want to see you weak. Dont let them win. Put on your brave faces and show them who's boss."B/n said looking at both of us.

"Oi bitches times up!"Jungkook shouted from outside the door.

B/n sadly smiled at us before gesturing to the door,"You can do it."

A/n:Hi guys how are you doing? I hope you are all staying safe. In my country we are currently in lockdown and I have never been so bored in my entire life. I never thought I would say this but I want to go back to work and college. I taken my normal life for granted and I just want to go back to it. I have been staying at home for about a week so far I have another two weeks at least left of lockdown I have only left the house to get snack( I have eaten so much by the way I'm going to leave lockdown super fat) and I use the excuse that I have to walk my dog pretty much everyday apart from today. But please try stay home,stay safe, wash your hands and we can get through this together. Stay strong
