Chapter 5

"Oh my God I'm so nervous."Namjoon said in a quiet voice so that only I could hear.

I patted his shoulder.Its only understandable.Its his first mission.I was a nervous wreck on my first mission.

"You will be fine.Just listen to what me and Ashley tell you and you will be okay."

He nodded his head at me he still didn't look confident though.

"We are nearly there Y/n."Jungkook called back from the drivers seat.

"Thanks Kook!Okay everyone earpieces on.Try not to act suspicious okay?This is some tough territory we are covering today.We don't know for sure if this is Infernos actual place of drug dealing.We are simply here to investigate so there is no need for big guns.Yes I am talking to you Jimin.Put that down now."I say giving him a stern look.He pouts and puts his gun on the floor with a sad "oh."

"We will split into two.I will take Namjoon the rest of you are together.Just act casual.You guys act like a normal group of friends hanging out.Namjoon I'm sorry but the most believable ones for us is to be a couple we don't have to do that much though don't worry.Lets go."I say as I open the van doors for us all to get out.

I took Namjoons hand and lead him away from the van.He looked flustered and hurried after me."Try not to freak out so much people may suspect you.The first thing about being a spy is remaining calm.If people see you're nervous they may think you're up to no good.You need to appear natural and in control.Also don't quicken your pace it looks like your in a rush.We are just a couple taking a nice stroll around the neighbourhood.Okay?"

Namjoon gulped,"okay got it.Im so sorry Y/n.Im so bad at this."

"Don't be.I was worse than you on my first mission."

Ashleys voice roared into my ear,"Y/n coming up on your left is the alley where we got sent the CCTV."

I leaned my head towards Namjoon to make it appear as though I was talking to just him and no one else.

"Is there anyone down there?"

Ashley hummed in thought.I heard the clicking sound of her fingers working away at her keyboard.

"Yes there is.There is a guy and a girl looking around the age of early 20s"

I huffed.Perfect.All I need.

"Okay Joon I have a plan.Trust me on this."

"Wait wha-"he got cut off by me pulling him down the alley.

We approached the pair just standing there talking to each other leaning against some expensive car.

The guy stopped talking to the girl midway through the sentence once he noticed our presence.He slowly looked over at us and smirked.

"And what do we have here?"he asked us.

"Oh I just heard that this was the spot to find Inferno.I want to make a deal with him."I said without missing a step.

The girl raised her eyebrows and tilted her head."And who may you be?"she asked narrowing her eyes a little.

"My name is Melanie Paulter and this is my partner Mark Young.May I also know your names?"I ask.

"Well I am -the guy started but got interrupted by the girl shouting at him.

"WAIT!"

She looked at us eyeing us up and down."How can we trust you with our identities?"

"I was kind enough to give you my own.If I were looking for trouble then I would be stupid to give you my name.You look too scary to piss off"I say knowing that it will please her

She scoffed but I saw a slight grin emerge from her features.She liked what I said.

"I like you Melanie.Fair enough I'm Jennie and this here is Jackson."

Me and Namjoon smiled at them in acknowledgement.

Namjoon spoke up unexpectedly,"Do you happen to know if Inferno does his deals here?"

"I don't know much about him but he has been more on this side of town recently now that I come to think of it"Jackson said.

"Do you know of his identity?"Namjoon replied.

"No he keeps his identity hidden from outsiders."Jennie said giving him a weird look but I chose to ignore it.

"Does he deal here often?"I ask.

"Meh once a week or so.You just missed him.He done a deal with my friend Kai a couple days ago.Did you arrange a meeting with him?"Jackson questions.

"No.Just wondered as we are interested.Do you happen to have your friends number just to see if he can arrange us a little meeting with Inferno.We are new you see so we don't know how to contact him and you so clearly are a lot more experienced than us hahaha."I asked laughing shakily so they can sympathise with me.It worked.

"Aww bless you sweetie.Here you go.Though if you do meet him I will warn you be careful not to get on the wrong side of him.That man can be very dangerous.Some newcomers make the mistake of pissing him off.Lets say they didn't leave in one peice."Jackson warned before writing out Kais number on a peice of paper and handing it to me.

I smile as I take the slip of paper."Thank you.And yes we will be careful I will keep that in mind.Thank you so much."

I turn to Namjoon and smile at him sweetly before hooking my arm through his own."Shall we go baby?"I ask still keeping up the boyfriend/girlfriend facade.

Namjoon grinned back at me,"Yes let's darling."He kissed my forehead before leading me out the alleyway.

Once we were out if sight of Jennie and Jackson I let go of Namjoon and jumped in the air cheering.

"Namjoon you did it!Your first mission is done!You were so great!"I exclaim jumping up and down excitedly engulfing him in a big hug.

He laughed at me and hugged me back."Thank you.Oh my God they were so intimidating.You are really good at thinking things up on the spot."

I blushed letting him go,"Its mainly knowing what to say to make them happy.If you say something they would like it would lower their suspicion of you and make it more likely to open up to you."

He nodded at me,"Noted.So what now?"

I took out the slip of paper Jackson gave me."Looks like we have some talking to do."

A/n:Heyo guys!Another upload go me!I actually made a couple friends today which were unexpected as I am the dictionary definition of antisocial.Like no joke I will go to so many lengths to avoid any human interaction.But some lovelies started talking to me today and you know who you are ;) and I really appreciate all the support you're all giving me.I know this isn't popular as of yet and I haven't gotten far into the story but just know that I have a plot twist in mind but we are no where near that stage yet so just sit back,relax and enjoy the build up my lovelies :)
