Chapter 7

We all fell silent as we read the message.There was no name to the message just flames.We weren't idiots we knew who it was.Inferno.

Ashley immediately done her work on her computer tapping away on her keyboard rapidly.I have no idea what she is doing.This was her expertise.

She was silent for a minute her eyes were scanning frantically over the screen.She leant back in her chair looking stressed out.

"What is it?"I asked.

"No I.P. address or anything that leads to a location to where the message was sent.It must have been sent on a burner phone or something because this is untraceable."Ashley explained.

"It is Inferno right?"Hoseok asked.

Yoongi rolled his eyes,"Nah Hoseok with those flame emojis I was thinking it was Aquaman."He said sarcastically.

I signed,"Enough.We don't have time for this.This means we have to move quicker.It looks like they are onto us so we have to be more efficient.Especially my group we need to be careful he may know our appearances."

"So what now?"Taehyung questioned.

"There's no more time for messing around.We have to bring in Kai instead and question.He could easily snitch on us to Inferno if he has any links to him and is a loyal customer."Ashley answered.

"Okay Y/n the cameras show he is waiting at the warehouse just like we instructed.Just go along with the plan until you're close enough to him."Ashley said into my ear.

I nodded from inside our van.We were currently parked outside a warehouse that Ashley told him to wait for us supposedly for us to get Infernos contact details for a drug deal.He seemed to buy that excuse.How gullible.

"Did he bring any back up?"Jimin spoke up reaching for his beloved gun.

"Not that I can see."Ashley said.

Jimin shrugged and shoved a hand pistol in his jacket pocket.I raised an eyebrow at him while he just shrugged his shoulders at me,"Just in case."

I shook my head at him before turning to the rest of my group."Okay remember the plan.Me and Namjoon are still Melanie Paulter and Mark Young.We are together and are interested in a drug deal with Inferno and we heard that Kai recently done a deal with him so we wanted to know how it's done.Jungkook you will wait here until we get back as soon as we get safely inside the vehicle step on it.Jimin,Yoongi you're our back up.Lets go."

I opened the van doors and stepped out Namjoon,Jimin and Yoongi following me.A cold breeze hit our faces as we looked at the outside of the warehouse.

It looked very run down and abandoned as if no one has step foot in it in years.

I looked at Namjoon,"You ready?"

He looked back up at the warehouse and nodded,"As ready as I will ever be."

With that we walked over to the rusty door and opened it with a big CREEEEAAAAAKKKKKK.Wow way to announce we arrived.

The door opened to reveal a man who identified as Kai standing alone in the middle of the room.He turned to face us at the sound of the loud door.He smiled and opened his arms out in a welcoming manner."Melanie and Mark!Come in come in!Finally we meet!"

Me and Namjoon walk in together and stand face to face with him.

"Hello Kai.Nice to meet you."I greeted him politely offering my hand for him to shake.

He grabbed my hand and kissed it gently giving me a slight smirk afterwards,"Oh the pleasure is all mine Miss Paulter."

Namjoon frowned and looked like he was about to protest but I nudged him in the side telling him to keep quiet.He seemed to understand as he shut his mouth afterwards.

"So you want a deal with Inferno I hear?"Kai said.

"Yes and your friend Jackson suggested we speak to you about it as you recently done a deal with him."I said cutting straight to the point not wanting to waste any more time that we don't have.

"How do you know Jackson?"Kai asked looking a bit suspicious.

"We bumped into him in the street and we asked if he knew anything about getting deals with Inferno.That was when he mentioned you and said it would be best to talk to you since you clearly have more knowledge on the matter."Namjoon spoke up.

Ashleys voice came into our ears,"I know now is not a good time but my sensors are picking up that you are not alone."

I scanned the warehous briefly,"Did you come here alone?"

Kai laughed shakily.

"There are 5 guys around the back."Ashley said.

"We are on it."I heard Yoongi say through the earpiece.

"No no one is here."Jackson said.

"Is that so?So what explains the 5 guys hiding at the back of the warehouse?Are they just there for decoration?"I say.

"5 guys?What 5 guys?hahaha."he laughed uneasily.

"Y/n We taken them all out it's all down on you and Namjoon to bring him in"Jimin said.

"Does someone not trust us Kai?"I questioned starting to circle him so that Namjoon was one side of him while I was on the other.

"What are you on about?"Jackson asked clearly getting more nervous.

I got my gun out and pointed it at him Namjoon following my action likewise.

"Mr Kai you are coming with us!Don't make it harder for yourself by resisting.We have the place surrounded and your so called bodyguards taken down so you are stuck with us."I say confidently not breaking eye contact with Kai showing that I was being serious.

"You little bitch-" He shouted at me about to run to attack me but he got stopped by Namjoon knocking him unconscious from the back of his head.

I smile happily at him. "Thank you"I said.

He returned my smile with his cute dimply one ,"Don't mention it.Dont want the most important one injured."he said winking at me.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes at him, "I totally had that!"I protested.

He smirked at me, "Yeah Yeah sure"

"Y/N!NAMJOON!QUIT FLIRTING!"Ashley's voice screamed into my ear making me double over holding my ear in pain.

"Fucking hell Ashley!Are you trying to make me deaf or what?"I moaned.

"I don't care.So do you have him or not?Dont tell me you distracted by food again or I swear to god I will personally kill you."Ashley warned.

"It was that one time!And I will have you know that I have actually got him so in your face!"I defended.

"Technically I got him.I knocked him out."Namjoon spoke up.I glared at him.He just smiled and shrugged at me.

"Ooh watch out Y/n maybe I should ask the director to make Namjoon the leader instead of you he gets more done."Ashley remarked.

"you little bitch.I hate you all!"I screamed with Namjoon just laughing at me.

A/n:Hey guys have you listened to Seoul Town Road it's amazing I didn't see it coming.Literally I hate the original version of Old Town Road but now because Namjoon done a remix of it it's now THE BEST SONG EVER!!!!!I can't stop listening to it it's so catchy my one bit of criticism is why the fuck is it so short I WANT MORE!!!!!
