so ... this is what a lot of people call their " warriors sona " , i guess you could say .
basically i project my whole persona into this cat & shove her into unrealistic situations for my enjoyment ! i already do that with nightfall , but they 're the original . they 're dawnfeather , insert clan here ( thunderclan if canon ) ' s medicine cat . they ' re genderfluid , primarily utilizing non - binary & female pronouns ! their color pallete & overal appearance is of the abyssinian cat . that breed has a heavily ticked coat which currently is not within my skill ' s capacity of translating into my art .
they ' re usually quiet & reserved , a little feather - brained & clumsy here & there . they ' re passsionate , headstrong , though they have a very short - temper , especially when provoked . they 're sensitive to noise , so they enjoy being on their own . they especially love to stroll across the woodland , listening to the soothing melody of birds & the breeze between the branches . they love to stop & smell the flowers & take in the greenery of the glade . they ' re jittery , but not skittish like nightfall . a pretty solitary cat , but loyal to their clan through & through . they ' re a wallflower , definitely , awkward when it comes to socializing & constantly overthinking ever situation . they can be approachable & friendly , just not open at first .
it was in a particular walk in the forest when they found their best friend . you may have noticed the little sparrow on her shoulder . he ' s linden , their sparrow companion ! with distinctive black , white & light tawny markings on his wings , dawnfeather ensures absolutely no feline of her clan stares at him the ugly way . but linden is no scaredy - cat as he strides across the camp , helping in the medicine den , & accompanying dawnfeather in her foresty escapade . unbeknownst to the medicine cat , linden may as well be an oracle from starclan .
dawnfeather will get her own template done sooner or later , but i began to sketch them & thought it ' d be a neat idea to share their character & story !
