have a midnight doodle of flamepath and nightfall in their original iteration . i have said that joshii and nagisa were originally a cringy set of pokémon origimal characters birthed from the mind of an elementary school student that had no comprehension of character design . but after yanking them off of a friend ' s fan comic book they were made for , i continued to expand on them and over the years , here we are . they have three iterations ( the og pokémon , humans , and warriors for all general kinds of roleplaying and storytelling ) .
we ' re still working on my human anatony stuff before i can confidently show any art of my poor human (progress shots of human gesture & anatomy i can definitely share here if you want!) so you ' re stuck with endless doodles of the other two ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i have not drawn them in their pokémon setting for so long it was refreshing . they ' re 100% supposed to be set in a mystery dungeon universe ; as flame is the lead fighter/offensive ( design wise he should be a wall, with all that fluff able to reflect or at least absorb attacks , but you know how the devs are , eek ) of the party & night is a support / cleric of sorts with moves like heal bell , wish , toxic . they ' re out there exploring , rescuing and getting caught into haphazard events and drama that have absolutely nothing to do with them but are swept by the current anyways .
apollo and artemis are also a part of this universe -- actually , a bunch of other characters are -- but they have their own party and faction of upstanding , powerful fighters to worry about . i ' d like to say they ' re like the team rocket of this universe , appearing out of nowhere & causing all manner of mayhem . but they ' re not antagonist per sey , more like anti heroes that occassionally team up with the other two if it ' s benefitial for them .
i ' m going off on a tangent oops . i have so much to say about this old but still fascinating universe , but i ' ll leave that for another day <:3c
