skimbleshanks is my second favorite cats character , and gods did they massacred my boy in the movie ! i ' m here to make the point that cats would have looked better if they used complete cgi anthro cats rather than ... whatever they did with the cgi . i know they tried to resemble the makeup / costumes they used in the musical , but some theatre things just don ' t translate well into film .
i think skimble ' s design is the one i ' m most angry about . he went from the dapper , scottish lad he was in the musical to a ... plumber .
