Sam climbed out of bed and explored the room that he was in, which was probably the size of a regular bedroom in the house. Unsure of where he is or where Colby was, he went to find the bathroom. He was about to leave the room when he saw two doors in front of him. One had to of been the bathroom while the other was a closet. Walking toward the first door, he opened it and looked inside, the minute he looked inside he realized that he had found the bathroom, entering the bathroom, Sam had stopped in front of the mirror where he saw that he didn't look the way he did before the robot invasion. His shirt was once salmon pink and was now wholly torn to a point where he could see bare skin.

The pants he was wearing are torn at the seams; His skin and face were covered in dirt as well as grime. Not to mention, Sam's hair didn't look blonde anymore; instead, it seemed almost brunet due to how much dust had covered his hair. Looking at his hands, he saw that the nails were covered in dirt and looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in so long. When he turned, he saw a shower and decided it was best to clean himself off.

After about an hour of scrubbing his entire body, Sam got out of the shower and dried off. He wrapped a towel around his waist and made his way back to the bedroom where he saw new clothes laying on the bed. Grabbing the first clothing Sam examined it and saw that it was new boxers which didn't have much design it was just plain white, he put the new boxers on then he saw a leather vest with yellow patches, Sam looked for a shirt but didn't see one, lastly, he put on a pair of camouflage cargo pants. After getting dressed, he left the bedroom and ended up in a hallway; it didn't look different from other corridors. Sam was going to head to the lunchroom as that was where Corey and Elton were waiting for him. Looking up, he saw signs that led to the lunchroom.

After a while of walking, he eventually found the lunchroom. People were entering in and out of the room, and Sam pushed the door open the minute he entered the room he saw people going to the lunch line and getting their food. Others were sitting around, eating, and talking with other people. Sam walked over to the lunch line and grabbed a tray. Next, Sam got some food to eat, mashed potatoes, steak, mac n' cheese, and a bottle of water. Afterward, Sam got out of line and looked for a place to sit; he glances over to see Elton and Corey sitting together. Smiling, Sam makes his way over to the table and sits down next to Corey.

"You two said you'd explain what happened?"

"Simple," says Elton "The apocalypse has started," he continued. "You're in the resistance headquarters,"

"Also, you and Colby were separated due to a prophecy that has started," says Corey.

Sam looks at Elton and Corey with a shocked expression on his face after learning about this prophecy. Minutes later, Sam finished his food and walked with Elton and Corey as they explained everything and showed him around. He was brought to a room with nothing but a pole in the center of the room.

"What is this place?"

"This is where the prophecy was discovered," replies Elton as he and Corey walked over to a pole. Sam was hesitant but eventually gave in and followed them into the center of the room. As Sam neared the pole, a glowing golden light appeared. Covering his eyes, Sam got closer, and eventually, the light had died down. Uncovering his eyes, Sam looked at the letters that had appeared on the pole.

"What the?"

On the time of the apocalypse,

two friends will be torn apart,

The enemy will take one,

and one will be the leader of the rebellion,

These two friends will make a choice,

to end the apocalypse or to end the human race.

Elton glances at Sam reading his expression, Sam had been silent, he hadn't expected to read a prophecy that could have been about him and Colby after Sam finished reading the prophecy Elton and Corey began to go in-depth about what's going on.

"We thought the prophecy was for a different friend group, but it's revealed that you and Colby are the friends in the prophecy,"

Meanwhile back at 'S' headquarters, agent S and Kat had just placed a small circular object on the back of Colby's neck where the soul was going to be placed.

"Kat, can you get me one of the soul's please?" asks agent S

"Sure," Kat replies as she makes her way to one of the jars each jar was labeled if the soul was a male or a female, Kat grabbed a jar with a male soul and brought it over to agent S where he opened the jar and allowed the male soul to enter Colby's body. After he's done Kat and 'S' wait for Colby to wake up. After about an hour, Colby wakes up no longer himself; instead, the soul had taken full control of his body; once S sees this, he makes his way over to Colby.

"Where am I?" asks the soul.

"You are in Colby Brock's body,"

"Does that mean I take his identity and his life?"

"Yes, and you'll help us track down the rest of the rebels that are hiding somewhere not wanting to be found,"

"Perfect," says the soul with an evil smirk.

"Now, how about I introduce you to the others?"

Colby nods his head and gets off the bed he was laying on as he is trying to get used to the body. Hours later, the souls were plotting for a way to hunt down the rebels so that they could put an end to them. Meanwhile, back at the resistant headquarters, Elton and Corey were helping to train Sam as he was going to be the leader of the resistance. If training is successful, then Sam would be ready to face the enemy and maybe lead the rebellion to victory.

"The enemy doesn't just consist of robots, there are humans with them, only they aren't themselves," says Elton.

"What do you mean?" Questions Sam. Corey was busy cleaning off a gun as they were in the weapons room. When he hears Sam ask the question he sets the gun down and walks over, Corey no longer had a man bun, he now just had short hair which was a little more pleasing than Corey having a man bun.

"What he means, Samuel is that there are these things called 'souls' that some of the agents insert into the back of the victim's neck when it comes to them, they can't be trusted because you don't know if it's the human or the soul talking,"

"That's how some of our rebels got caught, they believed that their friend was in danger and had gone to save them," Elton continues, "needless to say, we never saw those rebels again,"

"What happens to them?"

"Once one of the rebels is taken, they're brought to the center of an arena where many people are sitting in the bleachers," says Corey, "The rebels hands are bound together behind their back, and the robots would shoot that person in the head, and they'd end up dead,"

Sam looks disturbed by what Elton and Corey explain and realizes that might have happened to Colby. If this soul possessed Colby, then he would find a way to save him.

"Wait does that mean they did that to Colby?"

"Yes," says Elton and Corey at the same time. Sam couldn't help but think about Colby, and if he was okay, while he thought about it, he continued to train with Elton and Corey.

"How do you destroy these robots and 'souls' without harming a human?"

"With weapons like this," says Corey as he walked over to a wall full of different guns. "The robots need to get shot with a laser, but with the soul's the only way to get rid of them is to cover them in water. It'll push the soul out and free the vessel."
