Dredgen's POV

I open my servos and look around. I see I am in a bedroom, a royal bedroom. I hear something move and I shoot up and draw my gun pointing it at the wall.

Dredgen: Come out...Now.

The figure starts to advance forward. I see that it is Oryx. I lower my gun but I don't remove my hand.

Dredgen: Hello Oryx, why am I in your bedroom?

She looks around then at me and smiles a little.

Oryx: Our bedroom. Remember your the Taken King now. You have every right to sleep in this room as I do.

I sigh, stand up from the bed, and walk over to the window. I look down at my arms and see one rune on each arm is gone. I turn to Oryx and she smiles at me.

Oryx: You are slowly unlocking your full power. When the day comes that your anger over takes you and your sadness beats your happiness, you will unlock the full power of the Taken King. Right now you have done a pure Rage run. Now you must be sad to unlock the next rune.

I look at my arms. I then sit on the floor and motion for her to come over to me. She does and sits down in front of me. I put my hands out for her to put hers under. Once she does I start to meditate and let all the sadness flow through both of us. Our memories of losing out child, having trust betrayed by a close friend, and losing the one we love the most. She is screaming in agony while I have finally realized why the second rune didn't unlock. I break her focus and she looks at me with tears.

Dredgen: You need to learn to move on. Would your son Crota, want to see you like this? Would your friends if new and old want to see there friend in so much pain knowing they can't help? Would your dead Husband want to know that he caused his living wife so much pain?

She looks down for a second before hugging me in a tight hug that almost breaks through my armor. I can hear her crying and finally moving on. I see Crota's soul looking at me. He nods and walks away.

Crota: Protect her. You are all she has left.

I nod and he disappears. She looks up at me and smiles. I pat her head and feel stronger. I look at my arms and see the second rune has broken.

Dredgen: For one to be strong, he or she must believe he or she is strong. Now let's go Oryx. I need to rise from my slumber and take to the academy. They are having a meeting of peace. I am there as a leader of the New faction. The Taken.

Oryx nods and snaps her fingers. My servos shut off and I lean up from my spot outside. I look up and see that it is day time. I get up and change into some clothes and put on a mask to cover my face. I walk to Kuoh and see Sona, she looks at me and smile. I wave to her and keep walking. I get to the clubhouse, pull my hood down, and take off my mask. I see that SirZech is there.

Dredgen: Hello SirZech, how have you been?

SirZech: I have been good Dredgen. How is Oryx after Riser's outbreak?

I chuckle and summon her in a physical form. She looks at me in shock then smiles

Dredgen: Ask her yourself.

She walks over to SirZech and he looks like he is about to pass out. I chuckle and sit down on the couch, Oryx follows and sits in my lap. I look her in the eyes.

Dredgen: Really? The most intimidating being in the universe, and your sitting on my lap like a schoolgirl.

Oryx: *giggles* Yes, yes I am.

I sigh and motion for SirZech to continue what he was saying.

SirZech: Yes, well Rias we have decided that we will hold the leaders summit here. Also tomorrow is parent day.
