Scarlet Ghost

XIX

The room opens into a large space with a vaulted ceiling. Small windows line the top of the ceiling on one side letting in light from what must be the alleyway.

Upon first glance there doesn't appear to be anyone in the room. Slowly they sneak behind a pile of boxes and peak around the corner. Sure enough there's no sign of Jasmine. Relieved they all start looking around.

On one side of the room there is a long table that has all kinds of chemistry stuff. There's flasks and bottles containing powders and unknown liquids, a bunch of notes with complicated writing on it scattered all over the table, and multiple test tubes with strange glowing liquids in them just to name a few.

In the middle of the room is a bunch of computers set up in an arch like a communications hub. Every once in a while feed from a security camera somewhere would appear on one screen.

Along the other wall there is a pile of boxes and what looks like to be a small bed. The bed must be used by Jasmine when she's chilling out in her secret lair.

Liz looks around the room "Alright it appears Jasmine isn't here right now, but that doesn't give us a lot of time so we can't mess around. Let's search through her stuff and see if we can find anything useful."

Liz goes straight for the computers. Leaving Michelle, Courtney, and Haley to search every where else. Michelle goes over to a table close to the computers where there's a bunch of papers and notebooks while Haley and Courtney go over to the chemistry table.

"So what exactly are we looking for?" Courtney asks.

"Anything that could tell us what Jasmine's up to." Liz replies. Her eyes are locked on the computer screen she's trying to hack into.

Haley picks up a paper and tries to read it. After a few seconds she squints at it and turns it upside down. "This writing makes no sense on this paper!" She puts it down and begins looking at the other stuff strewn across the table.

Courtney sees the glowing test tubes and is instantly drawn to them. "Woah look at these!"

Haley comes over to her. "Woah I wonder what's in those?"

Courtney carefully picks one of the test tubes up. It is filled with a glowing green liquid. "Hmm I don't know, let's find out."

Without warning she takes the test tube and throws it at Haley. The test tube shatters upon contact with Haley's body and the green liquid splatters all over her.

"Eww Courtney what have you-" Haley doesn't get to finish her sentence because something strange starts to happen to her.

Haley suddenly doubles over like she's in pain and then shaggy brown fur starts appearing all over her body. She even grows claws, a pair of wolf ears, and a tail. Haley finishes off her transformation with a wolf howl.

Michelle and Liz both look up startled and see a werewolf standing there in Tattered clothes that look like Haley's they freak out and run over to Courtney.

"What the heck did you do?!" Michelle exclaims.

"Umm..." Courtney starts.

"YOU TURNED ME INTO A WEREWOLF?!" Haley howls.

"How did this happen? What did you mess with?" Liz asks irritatedly.

"Well I saw the test tubes with the glowing liquids in them...and I definitely didn't throw the green one at her..." Courtney explains slowly.

Liz and Michelle facepalm.

Liz sighs exasperatedly "Courtney you just don't go throwing random chemicals at people, especially ones you find in a secret lair."

"HOW AM I GOING GOING TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL LOOKING LIKE THIS?!" Haley wails.

Courtney picks up Haley's glasses and puts them back on Haley's wolf face. "Relax guys it's not that bad, she's in disguise again with her glasses no one will notice. Plus I think she looks a lot better this way."

"Oh you better be glad you're my friend because I'm really tempted to bite you right now." Haley growls at Courtney.

So the funny plot continues, this time with Haley getting turned into a werewolf. haleyt7, the character Haley is modeled after, loves dogs so why not bring her into the story as a werewolf? Genius I know.

It only gets weirder and more hilarious from here. So get ready guys it's gonna be great!
