==> Be Willow.

It took me a while to get back to the throne room. The castle was winding, and I didn't look when I was running from the guards. When I got there, though, I came to a horrified sight.

From the time I led the guards away to then had been half and hour or so. In that half an hour, Khione was killed, Luna was frozen, and Leo was slumped by a pillar, covered in blood. I saw Oliver standing over him, monologuing about something. I knew deep down I had to kill him, bur I didn't want it to come to that.

I had no choice, though. I pulled out my revolver and used the last bullet to shoot Oliver in the head. They froze, then fell to the ground. I liked to think they didn't feel it. I hope they didn't. Tears stung my eyes. My baby sibling was gone, and I had to kill them.
"It was for the world..." I reminded myself. "One life over billions."

I stood there for a minute, just disassociating. I then remembered Leo was a thing and snapped out of it, sprinting towards him.

"Leo!! Shit shit shit--!" I skidded down on my knees baseball style and checked out his state. It wasn't good.
"Are you okay? Fuck... You're still breathing... thank the gods..." I breathed a sigh of relief as I felt a faint pulse on him. It wasn't too late. I shrugged off my coat and set it next to me.

"Where... Where am I? Where's Luna?" I heard him mumble. I glanced over to Luna's frozen solid body. I didn't want to answer.

"She's here, but we need to focus on keeping your ass alive..." I smiled kindly. Just keep an optimistic face. Apollo gave you healing powers for this exact reason.

"Why am I so fuckin' cold..." Leo's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. Right. He was in shock from blood loss.

"Shit... Hypervolimic shock... Okay." I took a deep breath, rubbing my hands together.
"I wish dad told me how to use these powers. Oh well." Running my fingers through my bangs, I bit my lip. I had to act fast. I quickly grabbed a scarf off of Oliver's body, which I didn't care to look at, and a tampon from my pocket. I plugged Leo's brand new Stab Pocket with it and wrapped the around his torso, stopping the bleeding for now.  "I guess I should say something to help me focus energy or some shit..." I tapped my chin. What would a sensible person chant when they have healing powers? Oh I know... Tangled!
"Flower gleam and glow, let your power shine, give this bitch alive, bring back what once was mine?" I held out my hand above the wound, and recanted a paraphrased version of the iconic healing incantation. I opened my eyes when I felt a surge of power through me. My veins were glowing gold. I grinned. I didn't say anything because I wanted to keep my focus, but I was thinking "rad."

I held my hand there for a few seconds, until I felt tired. Then, I stopped. I glanced to see how Leo was doing. He seemed fine now, no longer confused.

"Okay I disassociated for a second, what happened..." Leo trailed off as he glanced behind me.
"Luna... Fuck!" He yelled and bolted over. On the one hand, my healing worked! On the other, oh no.

==> be Leo

Seeing Luna in a frozen state made you regret a lot of things. You regretted not telling her sooner, you regretted telling her to wait, you regretted so much.
You had just gotten healed from being stabbed, and it felt like you got stabbed all over again.

You cursed. And cursed some more. You damned anyone who ever hurt her, and maybe punched a pillar. Your knuckles bled. You took a deep breath. She can't be gone. She can't be. There's no way this killed her. She can't be gone.

A warm hand touched your shoulder. You spun around to meet with a surprised Will, your appearance cold. You were trying to think of something. Some frozen humor, a shitty pun, anything to lighten the dense air. But... You couldn't. All it took was one hug from Willow to have you break down in her arms.

You spent a long while there, just sobbing as your inner issues became too much for you to handle. It was just too much, losing Luna would be the last straw. After a while of Willow patting your head and calming you down, she spoke.

"I healed you... I can heal her. But we need to get out of here and on the water first."

You nodded, pulling away and laughing.

"Ha, if we weren't friends before we are now, eh?" You ran your fingers through your hair. Willow shrugged.

"We were always friends, Leo."

A silence fell between you two.
"Thanks... We should..." You shrugged your coat back on and pulled Khione off of Luna. You then picked up her frozen self. You turned to Willow. Despite seeming... At least halfway stable on the outside, you were pissed on the inside. Pissed at the world for letting it come to this. At the gods, for making a bunch of teenagers risk their lives to save the world instead of doing it themselves.

You would never have made a cult to try and kill the Gods, but you understood where they were coming from. They were angry at the gods. Every demigod is at some point in time. Erradicating everything wasn't the answer, though.

You and Willow made your way down the mountain. You carried Luna the whole time, not letting go of her once. You were hoping that your own body temperature would help melt her down. It didn't.

Sunrise came. You and Willow set out to New York. It was a straightforward course, all you had to do was set it in a direction and wait. As soon as you were going the right way, you made a B line to Willow's room.

Luna was in her bed. She looked asleep. Peaceful. And yet at first glance you couldnt tell whether or not she was breathing. Luckily, she was. Willow hovered both hands over her, in a meditative state. Her veins glowed under her tanned skin, her eyes shut. In that moment, they both looked ethereal.

The tanner of the two snapped out of her daze and turned to you. She still healed Luna.
"Hey..." She said softly.
"How are you feeling?"

Honestly, you were a mess. The second you were alone you started crying again, you may or may not have punched a hole in the wall, and you wanted nothing more than to see Luna's auburn eyes again. You ran your fingers through your hair and sighed. You were always fidgeting.

"Willow..." You sat down, and stared at Luna. She made some improvements: she's no longer blue, her hair looks like hair. But other than that...
"How long is this gonna take?"

You sounded like a whining child, at least in your head. To Willow, you probably just seemed desperate. You grabbed Luna's hand. She was always cold. But this... This was bone chilling.

"I'll be done when I sense she's okay. She may sleep for a bit while her body is waking up. Cold makes you slow down, you know." She doesn't look at you. Her golden eyes are glued to the girl before her.

More silence. Willow spoke up.

"I'm glad Luna has someone like you." Her voice was quiet. You laughed a bit.

"I'm glad I have someone like her."

She smiled. "Thank you. For... Everything." She papped your shoulder. "I've seen a change in her behavior ever since she's met you. She's less... Shy. I don't want to say you changed her, but you did contribute to her becoming less asocial."

That shit made your day.
You grinned.

"Thanks, Willow."
