I was half asleep for a while. It was at that point when I realized I was on top of someone warm, who was running their fingers through my hair gently. I wasn't going to lie, I felt comfortable and safe. I never told anyone I liked to have my hair messed with, it was one of my darkest secrets, other than the murdering my father thing. Whoever I was with smelled like a campfire, and ashes. It still took me some time to get used to smelling burning without nicotine. One of my biggest "triggers" (is that what they're called?) Was cigarettes. They bring back bad memories.
Whatever. Juuls are cuuler anyway.
That was when I processed who I was apparently cuddling with."H...huh?" I opened my eyes, looking up at a smug looking Leo.
"Morning sleeping beauty~" he purred, his voice rough with exhaustion. He fell asleep too. With me in his arms, no less; I suppose I felt better about that. Still, I couldn't wipe the red off my face as I launched myself up, scrambling to put my glasses on.
"что случилось..." I mumbled, too tired and flustered to actually speak English. I wrapped myself up in my cat blanket and yawned.
"You sleep like a rock." Leo commented as he stretched himself out, standing up. "I couldn't wake you up if I tried."
This wasnt news to me. Get in fucking line, sizzle."That's because that was the first time i've slept more than eight hours..." I yawned, curling back up. I really wanted to sleep more. More specifically, on Leo. Maybe it was how warm he was, or how I felt safe with him, but he helped me sleep.
I had things to do, though. I stretched out, then stood. I slowly made my way over to my coffee machine that I acquired (stole) from a minotaur infested mall back in March. "Y'want some coffee?" I turned to Leo, still not fully awake. He, however, seemed wide awake.
I couldn't imagine not having a caffiene addiction. What a lucky bastard."Sure, why not?" He moved next to me, watching as I made some Awake Juice. "This thing takes way too long." He mused, looking the old keurig over. It was fairly beat up, and rattled when I tried to do anything with it. I sighed.
"Y'get used to it..." I rested my head on the desk. Today is not an awake day. The rattling of the keurig caused the entire desk to rattle as well. I felt like my brain was being turned into a smoothie, but fuck it.
"Naaaah, I'm gonna fix it up. I insist-"
"Leo," I turned to him, raising my head up from the desk. I was too tired for this shit. "I... I really don't wanna bother you with my stuff. You already fixed my walkman, I-I don't want you to-"
"Luna, I'm doing this because I want to. Not because I have to. Let me do this." He turned me around, grabbing my hands. I blushed and looked down. Did he have to do that? No. Did he? Yes.
Could there be a small chance he liked me?
Nah. I remembered what Oliver said when I first met Leo. He was just Like That. Naturally touchy and flirty. I wasn't special."Fineeeeee, you can fix my Keurig, repair boy." I groaned, where Leo simply chuckled. He let go of my hands, reluctantly.
The coffee finished. I poured two mugs and handed him one, sitting back down and curling back up in a cat blanket ball. He just looked me over. I could feel his eyes trailing up and down. I internally groaned. I looked like a goblin in the morning.
"What... What are you staring at?" I asked as I sipped my boiling hot coffee, unaffected by the heat. My glasses, however, fogged up.
"You."
"Well I know that, but why..?" My eye twitched in annoyance. Leo still stared at me with that inmocent puppy dog look, that quickly changed into a mischevious smirk.
"Do you really wanna know, dynamite?"
"F-for one," I growled. "I asked. And second of all, you haven't stopped staring since before I woke up. So yea, I'm a bit curious as to-"
