LOVE, WHAT A POWERFUL WORD. What is love? Is it different for everyone? But more importantly, what does Lana Jones loves? Surely she loves a lot of things, her dog Fergie, Emma and Matthew, dancing, and so much more. But did she love Noah, more specifically, in love with Noah? The night they met she tried to forget what he said to her. Of course he didn't say it directly, and he had no clue she was even awake - but nonetheless she still heard it.

Noah laid with his head on a pillow, while Lana's head laid in Noah's lap. His fingers trailed into her hair, getting lost in the small knots. Lana slept peacefully, she didn't mean to fall asleep, she had accidentally done it while they watched The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Noah had yet to fall asleep because he has now discovered how much he actually likes the show, and does ship Kimmy and Dong. He also now gets why Lana loves Titus so much.

But quite honestly, he stopped watching about thirty minutes ago. Instead he looked at Lana, the girl of his dreams. As his heart beat out of his chest, he knew Lana couldn't hear him — well he thought — but it was enough for him. Noah simply whispered, "I'm so in love with you."

That was a month and a half ago, and now time has passed and the conversation never came up. In fact, Noah and Lana's relationship never really came up, and to be honest, seeing Noah and Lana together never really happened. Well alone at least - the first few days maybe but like stated earlier, it's been a month and half, and it was nothing like it was online.

Lana Jones loves Noah Schnapp, but she isn't sure she is in love with him. Online it easy to be seen and perceived as something you're not, it easy to be more confident, it easy flirt. And now, as Lana recalls this previous year and meeting Noah, and all of the cast, she couldn't help but think of a few things.

Noah once helped Lana turn her scars into beautiful stars. One hand his fingers are dancing over them, the other hand is holding her face while he looks in her eyes. When Noah looks at Lana he sees them; the stars. He found a whole galaxy in her eyes. Every imperfection that made her perfect to him. The light illuminating over her face, that would soon go out.

She couldn't find a single star in his eyes, and she's sorry about it; but Lana can't help it. Because when Lana thinks of Noah, she begs to go back in time and fix their story, and the drama. But she can't change time. So now she has to apologize for running away from their stars and leaving the memory of them scar. All because at first, Noah was too afraid. After this, Lana doesn't know what Noah will think of her, she will never know what ponders his thoughts. She's found stars in her own eyes, because she knows now what she didn't know before.

Thinking back, at the time, they were nothing but good to each other. But at the end of the day, they are the gust of wind that sent a chill down one another's back before leaving forever. Maybe things weren't as good as they try to remember, because Lana Jones and Noah Schnapp tend to try and remember the good. But Lana couldnt't help but wonder what would happen if they tried to restart?

She likes to dream that they'd be perfect. They would find a galaxy within' each others eyes, full of love. The scars of their past drama and pain would dissipate into something much more. They would try again and this time they would care with no fear, they would be honest. Lana would not let Noah be a gust of wind, she would not let them be an empty night sky with no stars, she would not let the create the same scars on their hearts again. Lana Jonas is in love with a version of them that doesn't exist.

So now, imagine the two sitting side by side on a couch while their other friends have fallen asleep while they watched a movie. The two sat as far apart from each other as they could, like they knew; this isn't what they had planned. But neither of them wanted to say anything. They always had someone to confide in first, before saying anything they regret. Noah always could turn to Emma to tell him the truth of what Lana is feeling, and Lana always had Finn to turn to to tell her about Noah.

"I heard you that night, the first night you came," Lana managed to mutter out with a deep breath. Her thumbs twirling around each other, waiting for a response.

Noah looked at her, and she just looked at her twirling thumbs. Of course, he knew what she was implying, what she heard. His heart dropped, and he could tell from the tone of her voice, and her reaction to brining it up; all good things must come to an end. But he could play dumb for now, right? "What?"

"You said you are in love with me," she swallowed.

"Would that be so bad?" Noah asked, and Lana never looked his way. He took his hand to her cheek, turning it to look at him. He saw the stars; and she saw nothing. "Lana?"

"I-I don't know... would it?" She asked, now moving her face from his hand.

Lana Jones is not the villain of this story — there is no villain. In the real world sometimes things don't work out, and you can never control how you feel. Even if the people around you don't like how you feel; a person can never control how they feel or be told how they should feel. So don't punish them for it. And when that question came from Lana's lips, Noah knew she was avoiding, and he couldn't mad at her for how she feels. He wishes he could, but they both messed up in this relationship, or friendship? Whatever they are. Because he lied about liking Emma and hid his feelings, maybe if he was honest in the first place she would be his. She would've never went to Finn for help. "Lana, truth or dare?"

   "Truth?"

Finn Wolfhard was never the plan for Lana Jones. The flirtatious comments they passed off as friends was never the plan. The plan was to dm Noah Schnapp everyday until he responded. When Noah and her became friends, the plan was to get as close to him as possible. The plan was always Loah. Loah, Loah, Loah. But from the moment Lana saw Finn in person and he made one joke, she felt so much more comfortable around him than she did with the awkward meeting of Noah. It felt so natural. The plan was never to fall for Finn Wolfhard. But then again, maybe there wasn't really a plan in the first place. With that being said, "is the boy you like, Finn?"
