The Daylight of the next morning coated the land in its gentle sunlight. The princess was sleeping but then woke up with a start. She was panting as she looked around to see where she was. She was lying down on a field covered with some clothing , she was near some firewood which was burnt from a previous fire. She rubbed her head from the bang from yesterday and looked around for her hero then she saw a person sat near her.
"I see your up"
"What?" she said
"What are you doing all the way out here Hana?"
"Wait. Sir Tema?. I've finally found you" Tema didn't look happy.
"How did you find me?"
"I followed a trail of coins"
"Oh yeah I forgot about the hole in my pocket" he paused for a moment "were you warm enough? I didn't bring any blankets so I had to use my shirt to keep you warm" she saw that he had only a vest on underneath
"but won't you cold?"
"not really. Anyway what are you doing this far out?"
"Tema we need you to come back" Tema took the shirt and put it back on.
He looked in the opposite direction away from Hana "I can't come back. I'm endangering everyone and they threatened to wipe out the town with the Dark Rage Cannon unless I left"
"That's not entirely true Tema" said Hana
"what do you mean?"
"they were asking for a unconditional surrender. Whether your there or not didn't matter" Tema was very confused
"But I have the note here" the princess took the note and examined it
"Tema do you have any water?" Tema handed her a container with water and she poured it on the letter.
"what are you doing?"
"I thought so Tema look" he looked to see the last section of the letter was fading as the ink washed away but the upper section remained "my mother altered this"
"Altered?"
"She is I have to admit prejudice towards men. She believes that no matter who they are they have no right to live in Radiant light. Look Tema, they are firing the Dark rage Cannon tonight at sunset unless we surrender and you can guess what my mother's answer is. Only the Spirit stream can stop it"
"well I don't know why you came to find me. I can't perform it"
"I know but your only one who is strong enough to control it and you're the closest to the attack"
Tema simply shook his head, stood up and began to walk away "look even if I wanted to, we can't get back in time"
"Sir Tema what's scaring you so much?" he turned towards the direction of Radiant light
"it's just, everyone puts so much faith in me but I haven't done anything to repay them. All I'll do is mess it up if I go back"
"Your wrong you know, you saved me and mother. You've brought hope to our people and you even gave Sophia and Sakura a family so please" she pleaded "we need you" she started crying a little at that moment Tema's stone lit up for a second with a bright silver but vanished.
Tema thought it was playing tricks on him but it made him realise something "I guess...I let my fear get to me. I thought since everyone believed in me that...I could pay them back their relief. What have I been doing? I've just been running away" Hana got up "I just hope that my plan works" he put his fingers to his head "Kyla can you hear me?"
