Tema stood there looking very angry with the Queen while she looked annoyed and the girls looked confused. The Queen stood up "boy how dare you accuse me for the fault of that disgraced man." Tema's anger continued to grow and Hana picked up on this as she saw his orb again flash a dark black "he was obsessed with power...heretic. He wasn't going to stop so I thought if I told him his mother had the unity of pain he would stop"
"yeah...tell him his loved one had it why don't you?" retorted Tema
"How was I supposed to know he would use his own daughter to bring out the unity out of someone who didn't have it?"
"How dare you!" said Tema
"Excuse me?" said Queen
Tema was barely holding back "all he ever wanted was the power to protect those precious to him. You played with his feelings for your own benefit" the Queen stood up walked towards Tema
"I'd get your facts straight boy. He was consumed with this ridiculous notion of power, what if Sophia actually had the unity of pain what then?" Tema sought for an answer but none came to mind "you see boy. All I did was try to sway him but he refused to see sense, little Sakura almost died because of him. Now if you'll excuse me"
As the Queen walked away Tema spoke out "It wasn't Zodiac, it was you who almost killed Sakura. Sakura and Sophia meant everything to him."
"it that were true why did he use them for his own needs" said the Queen "After that I informed the people of his deed and they gave him what he deserved"
"Did you know he was going to apologize and give up his quest?" said Tema to which the Queen turned round and looked rather bewildered.
The Queen looked at him with a mixture of surprise and confusion "believe it or not your plan , although gone wrong, had worked." Said Tema "He was coming back to apologize and make amends for what he had done"
"what are you talking about?" demanded the Queen "he was nothing but a rotten and cruel man to the core. Don't get all mighty with me you weren't there so how could you know?"
"The beast was sloth like in shape and walked on its knuckles" the Queen looked mystified "It had trapped Sakura in a tree trunk but smashed it open and was an inch from her face. As it began to lunge, a large rock came flying through the darkness hitting the beast allowing Sakura to go to her mother's arms. I should know I threw that rock"
The Queen then looked shocked "so that was you? But how?" asked the Queen
"do you know what's worse? You won't entirely wrong when you said Sophia had the unity of pain" said Tema
"what do you mean?"
"Do you know unity's are passed through bloodlines. So Sophia did have it at one time but she passed it on to the next generation." This stunned the Queen and his friends.
The girls and the Queen tried to process the events as Tema continued "I'll admit I can't say what would have happened to Zodiac. That is...if you hadn't told him about the unity but it's your fault he's the way he is now" Tema's anger continued to climb as he walked slowly towards the Queen "He was going to say sorry for his actions but you couldn't let him have his happiness instead you cast him out like you did to me. Is that all we are to you, selfish monsters with no dreams or beliefs"
