It was rather early the next morning as the sun poke out from the horizon. Tema was starting to stir "ahh...hmmm. Jeez I really dozed off didn't I? I just hope I didn't...keep...her...waiting?" as he opened his eyes "what...the heck? Am I still dreaming?" The room looked plain enough but it was enormous.
Tema got up "ok...when did I...I don't shrink? I mean...I'm sleeping in a box lined with tissue" Tema then looked below him "on a chest of drawers...next to a large single bed" The simple room had a single bed, a grand window, what looked like a standard shaped house on the floor and several toys including a ball, a wooden plane and wooden horse on wheels but were all very large in size.
Tema rubbed his head "what kind of dream is this meant to be? It feels like the world grew as I was sleeping" Tema suddenly heard footsteps coming from a door at the other end of the room "whoa...those are loud footsteps" Tema was a bit apprehensive as the door opened
"Big brother are you up yet?" she looked to where he was "oh your awake." Tema breathed out in relief
"Ariana...it's you. I was beginning to really freak out...when I woke up and found myself miniature" Ariana giggled a bit embarrassed
"Sorry...I arrived really late and you were already asleep. And I just couldn't leave you" Tema saw her sad face and waved out his hands
"No it's okay. It's really good to see you again" with that comment Ariana picked him up and, surprisingly, hugged him very gently against her face.
Tema, in comparison, was about as tall as her head but she was incredibly gentle with Tema. Ariana, now, looked like a girl of ten with long brown hair kept in place by a black hairband. She wore a dark dress, which was also a skirt, over a grey t-shirt. Ariana was really happy "I missed you Big brother"
"Yeah I missed you too" Ariana smiled and placed Tema on her shoulder "so where am I anyway?"
"Well...you're at my home" Ariana walked to her window which allowed Tema to see the outside "you're in the village of Grand sky"
The village of Grand Sky was comprised of buildings which were made out of round stones. They were all the same in design just slightly varying in sizes and shapes. From Tema's point of view, Ariana's house looked like it was at the top of the village. From Ariana's house was a path, that went down into a centre circle and split of in several directions. The floor curiously was all grass with trees popping up in the paths. Tema could see people running around as tall as Ariana. He could see women, girls and boys but the men were rather small in comparison.
Ariana gestured her hand out "Tema this is grand sky"
"kind of an odd name" he replied
"it's because this village in high in the sky above Celestia"
"Oh...no wonder I dreamed I was flying" said Tema making Ariana smile "it looks like a normal village...except the size difference" Tema's stomach then growled
"are you hungry? Then come on let's get breakfast"
Tema was taken to a fairly standard kitchen and dining room but it looked big even for Ariana. Built much like his own kitchen there was a circular table in the centre with the kitchen at one side of the room. Tema to see several other doors leading to other room.
