The world was dark…blank and empty. No life remained, no sound could be heard, even the light seemed gone. Only a single thing seemed to be in this dark and lonely place. The object was limp and motionless as it lay there in the darkness. A small light originated from the object to reveal Tema on the ground, he showed no signs of movement as he lay there.
Tema was aware but felt broken “where am I?” he looked up to see the empty world “there’s…nothing here…nothing at all. Is this…what hell looks like?. Might as well it. All my friends all gone and captured…while the Princess is…dead. She tried to shield me from their attacks and she’s gone. So this must be punishment…to remain here in this place” he laid down…just still on the cold ground. He began to feel himself drifting out of consciousness with only his memories to keep him company.
Some time had passed as Tema lay there in the darkness. In the distance a light emerged making its way over to Tema. Tema remained aware but didn’t move as if all will had left him but he felt himself propped up
“come on” the voice sounded strange but gentle “come on I know you’re stronger than this. Your friends are still waiting for you”
“no there not. There all captured and what’s more Hana is gone because of me.”
“Tema stop blaming yourself”
“she shielded me with her body…that attack was meant for me”
“it’s not your fault. She did it because she wanted to, you need to get back and rescue your friends”
“even if I could…my power has gone…without my friends…I’m powerless”
“your friends…are still with you”
Tema opened his eyes to gaze at the person above but the light made it impossible to see the person’s face “your power didn’t come from their souls or being friends. No it came from somewhere different…something very precious to which Zodiac can’t fathom”
“what is it?” the voice simply chuckled and he felt a warm soft touch on his heart
“it’s right here.”
“what do you mean?”
“I’ll leave you to work it out but here’s a hint. They aren’t lending you their strength or power. There are giving you something very important indeed” he felt himself propped up “now come on” the voice now become familiar “wake up sleepyhead and fight”.
Tema woke up and felt himself laying on a rock hard ground. He strangely felt unharmed and sat up to view his surroundings. He was on the ground some distance from the bottom of the mountain.
“where am I? what happened?” he remembered the fight and how Hana took the hit for him at the top “oh yeah. All my friends were captured and Hana’s has gone but I’m sure that voice was hers.”
Tema stood up to see he was strangely all right “how come I’m not hurt…I mean I was barely breathing” then sounds of explosions and attacks could be heard originated from the top of the mountain “what’s going on up there?” he could see beams of energy lighting up the sky “I guess Zodiac is trying out his new power…what am I going to do? I can’t use my fusion-drive and my rage spirit was useless before…I can’t”
