The sun was glaring over the dead wasteland. Two vast opposing groups of people were converging. From one side an army of women were approaching from the west lead by Queen while the men approached from the east led by the ominous Zodiac. Tema and Sakura were among the group of women walking towards the army of men.
They stopped about a hundred yards from each other and Zodiac walked forwards. "my men in arms, here is the enemy that has shunned us, mistreated us and looked down on us. I time we took over as the rightful rulers of this world" the men all applauded and cheered "now CHARGE!" the men all started stampeding forward but then with a loud boom an object fell from the sky stopping the men.
It was King who rose up and addressed his crowd. "this is really how you prove your strength, fighting? It that all there is to your pathetic existence" the men murmured among themselves while Zodiac just laughed
"it that really the best you can come up with. How the mighty king has fallen, the king who wouldn't hesitate to fight is now nothing more than a coward or do you have something to prove me wrong?" mocked Zodiac.
King just turned around and presented Tema to the men which only erupted with laughs "really this young man is your answer, well here's mine" Zodiac spread out his arms charging a ball of dark energy in each hand, then joining his hands together the energy spheres merged together. "what will your supposed hero do now against the Dark rage cannon?" King merely looked at Tema and nodded.
Tema repeated Zodiac's action and produced a sphere of brown energy equal in size. The men could see Tema's attack was just as strong as Zodiac's who didn't back down
"So what? You can produce the same as me? Let's test it" with that he fired his attack towards Tema and the female army but Tema still holding the energy jumped sideways and fired his beam meeting Zodiac's at 90 degrees and deflecting them both away from the armies.
Both armies remained frozen in place "he possess' the same strength as our king" "he's just as strong as king" "so he can use King's power" "he can use both Queens and Kings power". King walked forward
"My sons, time for war is over, no have nothing to prove here today" Queen joined him
"Same to you my daughters. We are equally to blame, we have looked down on men as barbarians. We share the fault, all this fight is ego vs ego." Zodiac didn't really reply
"so it that it for you both. You just waltz in here expecting us to believe all this nonsense and all you can present is a mere boy" mocked Zodiac.
Zodiac charged forward towards the group, he jumped and punched Queen directly in the gut easily hurting her through the armour even smashing a small hole. Then with a kick sent her across the ground, King ran forward to help her but he ducked and landed a uppercut with an energy attack defeating King as well.
"he,Ha. How the mighty gods have fallen, that wasn't even considered a warm-up." Both armies looked worried at Zodiac and how he easily dealt with their gods, they were struggling to get up and Tema realised what they meant from before
"we don't have much time left"
Tema came to his own conclusion "so when they said their time was nearing its end it must have meant their life. I guess even if they didn't age they must still live a limited life. I guess it's up to me but I feel so strangely calm." Zodiac stood up and laughed
