Chapter 18: Don't Leave

Chevelle POV

The rest of my days have been like a dream. I just wanted to live like this forever, spending everyday with Von.

However, I don't know why I feel certain uneasiness...

Mas lalong humababa ngayon ang mga tulog ni Von. I know the doctor said that it maybe just the side effect because of the treatments he's doing but I still can't shake off the uncomfortable feeling I have.

It's already 2 in the afternoon and I've already prepared myself for today. But here he is, still sleeping soundly.

I smiled as I admired his sleeping face. The doctor said that his treatments are going well didn't he? Pero bakit parang pumayat ata siya? He looks a bit paler as well.

I bit my lip as my heart started to pound even more because of the uneasiness I'm having right now. This can't be... I need to stay calm. I am both his girlfriend and personal nurse, after all.

Naistorbo lang ako sa mga iniisip ko nang narinig ko ang ingay at bulong-bulungan ng mga kasambahay sa labas.

After Von fired the maids before, he found new ones just after a week. I remember that he made it very clear to them that no one is allowed to go inside the house without having his or my permission.

Binaba ko ang kamay ko na nakahawak sa natutulog na si Von para tignan ang nangyayari.

"Ma'am... ano, kasi po, may baliw na nasa labas ng gate. Gusto daw makita si Sir Von... pero takot kami na baka sisantihin kami ni Sir kaya di namin pinapapasok. Kanina pa po siya sumisigaw." sabi sa akin ng isang kasambahay.

"I'll go see her." I resolved.

Who in the world could this person be? Although I have my suspicions, I couldn't be too sure. I just know that Von couldn't be in a state right now to meet any agendas so as his girlfriend at least, I'd like to be useful for once.

"Bitch! Ikaw nagpapabawal sa'kin dito no? Golddiger bitch, kala mo may karapatan ka, ha!?" sigaw sa akin ng isang pamilyar na babae.

Di pa man ako lumalapit sa mismong gate, kung ano na ang mga sinasabi niya. I see that there's two bodyguards holding her on both of her arms.

"Why are you here, Miss Brielle? Sabi sa akin ni Von na wala naman kayong relasyon sa isa't isa. I don't get why you would visit here and cause a scene like this." I said bitterly.

Looking at her right now, I have mixed feelings. I hate what she made me feel last time, making me feel so much pain. But I guess, if it wasn't for that time, I wouldn't be able to acknowledge my feelings for Von properly.

I'm already trying my very best to be civil to her.

"Wag ka ngang maarte diyan! Ilabas mo si Von. Kailangan ko siyang kausapin tungkol sa last will niya." she said aggressively.

What the hell is she talking about? I looked at her, confused.

"Last will? What do you even mean?" I asked her in confusion. What she's saying doesn't make sense at all.

Brielle scoffed at me and looked at me with so much rage.

"Don't act all innocent. You know exactly what I'm talking about! Von's last will. Mamatay na siya and he's leaving all his riches to you. That's exactly what you want, right!? Di mo deserve lahat ng 'yan! Mas matagal niya akong kasama and I loved him before even without his riches!" Brielle spat out as she cried angrily.
